I really can't say if the Gimli that Tolkien imagined would've ever do something like that, but just the mental picture of that short, sweet character without his prized beard was enough to bring a smile to my lips. I hope I wasn't the only one.

wow, it's been a while, but, so very glad to see this story back on track. This is one of the first ones that I had ever read & it sucked me in so fast ! besides a few grammar & spelling mistakes ( as if we actually care at this point!^_^) absolutely wonderful as usual!Glad to see that you are back on the map & continuing a quite remarkable story!!!!!!

WOW!!!!! thought I would never see another chapter... this is one of the very first stories I had ever read here & was just so impressed by it, I read it all in one sitting ! Glad to see it up & running again - did see a handful of spelling & grammar errors, but, it certainly did not detract from it in any sort.......

I await the next update with quiet anticipation, though I cannot guarantee how much longer it can remain quiet.lol. i like the twist in this chapter and bringing Thranduil into this plot was a very nice addition. I cantrememberthe last time I even checked for this story or even the last time I visited the stories of arda.goodness, the last chapter you had when I was last here was chapter 12! I really like the addition of Thranduil and the elves and the way you described the feelings of the trees! Wow...

I had to be back... can't stand to leave stuff unfinished, and the fact that this story was hanging open so close to the end was really bugging me...

Well I found this story today and I read thru the whole thing in one day and I dont usually do that unless I really get pulled in,all the errors you made in spelling didnt faze me a bit,the story was so good I just kept going. Your story is the best!

I like Thranduil, even with some of the particularities of his personality. It adds to his presence and I see a lot of Legolas' ins and outs coming from his father. So, yeah! here comes daddy!

Yeah, I have been taking ages to update this story... no excuse there. About the just fine part... well, I don't know... Legolas' a pretty smart elf, and still he let himself fall in to this mess... how much will his father be able to do?............................. evil laugh!!!!
