Very nicely done, with the little details that make you feel as if you are "there", and realistic characterizations, though Elanor sounds a bit old for her age. That's okay, I'm always being told "my" Faramir sounds old for his age... some hobbits just *mature* faster than others...

Aw, this was quite nice. Hobbit children DO learn to cook before they learn their letters, don't they? :) Your Elanor is very cute and I very much like your characterization of Pippin, hangover and all--I like especially that he still maintains his sense of humor and fondness for the little Gamgee. I would love to see more of this.
