Lovely story! I particularly enjoyed the delineation of holiday customs - very well done. And the cup that Finduilas gave to Denethor in the first chapter, that he drank from - an ironic counterpart of that cup of bitterness he later brewed for himself. You give a magical flavor to the meeting and romance of Denethor and Finduilas that reads beautifully...
