well written and interesting. Ending was rushed and wrapped up too fast, like author became bored. After the careful details of the preceding chapters this was disappointing.

pipinheart · 16 July 2005 · Chapter 26: Chapter 26

Author's reply

Actually, this is the end of the story :) We are working on another one but it's taking us forever! LOL!! Hopefully we'll eventually finish it. :P

Kateydidnt · 26 April 2005 · Chapter 26: Chapter 26

What would be interesting if in later years, Lord Elessar King of Gondor brought the fisherman from Belfalas and his brother in to answer some...questions

Author's reply

Hmm... I wonder if the fishermen will live that long... LOL!! Good thought though :)

Silma · 4 March 2005 · Chapter 26: Chapter 26

And of the line... and they lived happely ever after... =) I have had so much fun reading this story. Our heros were never more invinsible and immortal, even with severe injuries..; *wait, well, elves are immortal, so...* :D and Arwen saves the day! Yeah :) LOL now I just imagine a conversation between three brothers and their friend, some weeks after they are all recovered and safely home again. "I'm bored" "Me too" "Estel, what do we do? " "MMM... Go fishing?" "Maybe Adar will come with us." "You mean, before or after he kills us for making such a suggestion?" "Life can be interesting, is it not?" "It sure is". Nice work. I love good adventures. And I love my elves and my heir of Isildur even more :D looking foreward to the next one!!!

Author's reply

LOL!!!!! Those four will drive Elrond crazy! I have no doubt that Elrond will kill them all before he lets them go fishing. Who knows what would happen. Perhaps they will catch themselves a great white shark and then get bitten into pieces. LMAO!!! Murphy's Law always applies to them :P

DAYNA · 23 February 2005 · Chapter 25: Chapter 25

OMG... do you know how hard it is to read this between phone calls I answer all day long??? Gah! LOL. I'm more hooked than ever! Now Arewen's here... God help us if anything happens to HER... between her dad, lover and 2 brothers... eeep!

Author's reply

We are evil... but we are not THAT evil *eg* Nothing will happen to Arwen... promise... Hehehe.

Are you goint to save Elladan from serious injuries again? it seems he's quite the lucky one so far.

Elven Queen of Gondor · 15 February 2005 · Chapter 23: Chapter 23

Wow, what a turn! First Elrond's enemy is not dead, and then the captain betrays them! Yet the recovery of Legolas seems quite forced (and I don't think he could make it). I wonder if Elrond can save the day and slay the bad captain as well as he bested Moririme. Just a nice cliffe!

Author's reply

To keep you on the edge of the cilff :D

Elven Queen of Gondor · 15 February 2005 · Chapter 20: Chapter 20

Don't get me wrong, but the conditon of the heroes (especially Legolas)- as it was plainly pointed out over the last chapters - simply doesn't work with humour. It might be true that it's a "man's thing" to cope with serious situations by laughing at them, but it seems kind of odd to find it right after the rescue (or interim solution since there are more perils ahead). Though I have to admit that Legolas' sentence 'if they will ever be out on a trip without getting into serious danger' sums up the story poignantly.

Elven Queen of Gondor · 15 February 2005 · Chapter 18: Chapter 18

I have followed this story with joy, and I appreciate your attempt to write on one plot with different authors. Yet in this chapter I began to worry what the heroes can take without simply breaking down! Being injured and maltreated for such a long time and with grievious wounds, it is quite hard to imagine them moving at all. And wasn't Legolas shackled before, or did I overread the part in which he was freed? Anyway you girls do a marvellous job!

Author's reply

Legolas was freed in Chapter 15. You must have missed it. :D

Timmy2222 · 15 February 2005 · Chapter 15: Chapter 15

Lyn · 3 January 2005 · Chapter 19: Chapter 19

Excellent writing...however, I cannot stress it enough when I say that one should NEVER give liquids to an unconscious person, because the liquid goes into the lungs, not the stomach. There is no "reflex swallowing" that many writers seem to think exist. The tiny flap of tissue that temporarily separates the esophagus (food pipe) from the trachea (air pipe) is controlled voluntarily by someone who is awake. When a person is nconscious, this piece of tissue is relaxed and thus any liquid entering the mouth enters the trachea (breathing tube) and goes directly into the lungs. In effect, giving liquids to an unconscious person allows one to murder them by drowning them, depending on the amount of liquid administered. If not drowned immediately, they will suffer pneumonia. So---please do not have anyone give unconscious characters liquids (or solids either). This is the reason people in comas died from dehydration. It was only until the advent of sterile vein infusions that unconscious people could be kept alive.

Author's reply

Ahh, okies. Will keep that in mind. Thank you for pointing it out for us! :)

elf-girl · 3 January 2005 · Chapter 19: Chapter 19

WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! Please make Legolas die! Kill him! Kill him! KILL HIM! (I know I will later regret this but just do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Author's reply

Killing Legolas is a very bad idea. We value our lives too much to attempt that :P Sorry to disappoint you. Hehehe. *eg*

Dayna · 24 December 2004 · Chapter 18: Chapter 18

Timmy2222 · 17 December 2004 · Chapter 17: Chapter 17

I stil enjoy reading this story, and I marvel at the strength the protagonists display with every chapter. I would have loved to have a look at how the two injured Elves were placed into the boat... Take care, - T.

Author's reply

They will be placed into the boat very carefully. LOL!! Glad you're enjoying this story :D

Dayna · 6 December 2004 · Chapter 16: Chapter 16

If I didn't know there was more than one writer, I'd never know it at all! This is the best group effort I've ever seen! WOW! I have had a hand at doing something like this before, and it is SO much fun! Keep it up ladies (and gents? :D )!! This is just wonderful. Kudos to you all! :)

Author's reply

:D Thank you! No gents, all ladies. Hehehe. Unless there's someone in disguise amongst us... LOL!

Gud Daedheloth · 19 November 2004 · Chapter 14: Chapter 14

Ooh, wonder where this is leading to! Looks like all four heroes will sail away into even more peril! The wrath and power of the bad Elf should not be underestimated, I assume... It's a pity the chapters are so short.

Author's reply

Never underestimate a female. *g*

Galimeril · 18 November 2004 · Chapter 14: Chapter 14

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't stop here! MORE!

Author's reply

Hahaha!! I'm glad that got your attention *eg*

Silvren Ithildin · 7 November 2004 · Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Wow, this is a great story... i read it in about 15 minutes and cannot wait for your next chapter. If i could make a recommendation though... you could possibly make the chapters a bit longer, so as to make more reading time. i will be looking foward to your next chapter. good luck!

Author's reply

Ahh... sorry about the length. As different authors write different parts, it's a little hard to control the length. Hehehe. Hopefully that will change in our next story as we are trying to adapt another writing style. Thanks for reading :D

Anonymous · 6 November 2004 · Chapter 11: Chapter 11

woot!The slavers have been stomped-right?

Author's reply

Yep! Stomped! LOL! But for how long? *eg*
