· Chapter 4: Valinor Virus
The Valinor Virus! And Gandalf's taking no chances having died once already? *lol* Just what I needed today, Shirebound. Thanks for brightening my day. As there are a couple of pigs here on the farm in Germany where I'm presently living (their names are Eberhard and Miss Piggy, btw), we have to be extra careful and keep their stalls cleaner than usual, so this was an interesting read for me given the present concern over the swine flu situation.
Author's reply
Glad this gave you a giggle, Fiondil. Too much doom and gloom in the news these days! :)

Can't remember if I reviewed this on your L.J. or not.
Any way, just loved it, I am sure Galadrial was just waiting to get on line for something, you know how it is when you have to share a computer, it is always in use when you want it!
Poor Celeborn having to deal with a grumpy Istar, men make the worst patients!
I am sure he was glad to see the back of him!
More please,
Lynda
Author's reply
Glad you enjoyed the silliness! It's fun to find the lighter side of Middle-earth.

OMG!! these are so funny, I nearly choked.. this is the first bit of your stuff that I have read (I think - I just read so much...) I enjoyed them immensely...^^__^^
Author's reply
Thank you, Vamp! I love weaving lightheartedness and teasing into my stories, but rarely write anything quite like these -- scenes that are just totally silly. It's such fun to share little giggles like these once in awhile. (Another silly I wrote is called "Can You Sing, Master Hobbit?")

Aragorn playing shuffle board? Now that I'd pay to see! I also love Rosie as the cruse director. A bit of a LOVE BOAT moment! LOL

The Elves have had thousands of years to think up this idea, after all. Surely *all* their voyages weren't solemn and serious. :D

"No man is an island"? Oh, dear, our beloved Frodo is really reaching there!
And Aragorn is shuffleboard champion? Oh, how marvelous! As long as the three hour tour doesn't end up stuck on a desert island....
And Sam already has found a draw to make him overcome his fear of boats and water! Heh!
Lovely, my dear.
Author's reply
Poor Frodo just doesn't stall very well, does he?
Thank you, Larner! These folks are always so serious... it's time for the lighter side of Middle-earth. :D
