Lily the Hobbit · 17 November 2004 · Chapter 3: Heart Song

I may repeat myself, but I simply love this story! I can't wait what will happen next now that the five of them are together again.

Bodkin · 13 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

I love the way Celebrian described the different gifts of the hobbits - Sam as an artist. He wouldn't have put it like that, but it's true. Frodo - an explorer? and Bilbo, a poet?

Pearl Took · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

What doubt could there ever be that Sam would know his Frodo!! Now a question: will Rosie, Estella and Diamond be allowed to start anew as well?

Meldewen Ilce · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

Oh, Janet, you have me in tears of happiness and joy! Sweet Frodo, afraid his Sam wouldn't know or like him - like Gandalf, I was assured of that one certainty... I also love how having the hobbit children on the island has completed Celebrian's healing - I am certain being able to love children again has helped to soften the sting of knowing she'll never see Arwen again... I also loved Celebrian's description of what Sam would be -- she said he'd be an artisan there, but we all know he could never be anything but a master gardener... *grins* Yet another certainty I am assured of! Oh I LOVE this story too as much as any of your others! WONDERFUL CHAPTER!

cpsings4him · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

Oh, Shirebound! This is such a lovely story! I'm sorry I never got around to reviewing the first chapter. I did read it, but at the time I did, I had to sign off as soon as I finished it and MEANT to go back and review, but well...you know... Anyway, this is just so adorable and sweet and wonderful! All our dear hobbits get to have a fresh start - and grow up all together - a family. That just makes me grin so big!!!!!!! I can't wait to see what kind of adventures they'll get up to...especially after Merry and Pippen arrive! Thank you for this!

Sorrowful_Eagle · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

Ahh, this story gives me warm fuzzies every step of the way. I'm already looking forward to reading more, and can't wait to see Frodo and Sam's friendship this time round. It's a simply gorgeous story. Thanks for continuing it. :) ~S

Auntiemeesh · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

More hobbit toddlers, yay! Just the slightest hint of toddler angst thrown in, 'Will Sam remember Frodo?' And the answer is.......of course Sam remembers Frodo! This was very sweet. I can't wait to see the arrival of Merry and Pippin. I bet they'll be a handful on the boat!

Nivina · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

This is such a wonderful tale! I love how you describe the gifts of every single hobbit, how Sam is comforted by seeing Frodo, and... oh, I love just everything about this story. This makes me feel happy and peaceful inside. :) I can't wait for more updates!

Lily the Hobbit · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

This story fills me with so much joy! I am enjoying every moment of it!

Nivina · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

I so love this! I've read it first when you've posted this for Melly, and now I'm sitting here with a big, dreamy smile on my face once more. Such a lovely, gentle, and sweet beginning of a story! Our dear, sweet hobbits deserve all the happiness they can get. I also love your description of Celebrían. It's good to know she found healing as well. :) And this: High up on his perch, Bilbo swung his tiny legs with glee. Frodo, one hand clutching Gandalf's ear, yawned sleepily. Awww! Such cuteness!! :) *runs off to read chapter two*

Connie B. · 12 November 2004 · Chapter 2: Dream-Friend

Who needs sugar when you've got this sweetness? What a wonderful chapter. There is so much to love about this story that I can't even begin to cover it all. Now I know what each toddler is going to grow into. I was a little off on a couple of them, but for the most part I was right in my guesses. The idea of Celebrian and Elrond raising the hobbits is great. What a wonderful way to help Celebrian heal from her own traumas. Oh I can hardly wait for chapter three especially with all the hints you gave in your review responses. Thanks. Connie B.

Hobbsy · 9 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

This is just delightful! What a lovely idea giving the hobbits a new chance at a new life. Keep writing!

Grey Wonderer · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Now this is a very interesting idea. Can't wait to see how the elves manage to cope with hobbit todlers. It will also be fun to see what sort of todler Bilbo was. Looking forward to more of this.

Lily Baggins · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Oh, you're continuing this!!!! I have to say this is just adorable... I don't see very many wee-Frodo stories with Big Folk involved, and I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Ariel · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Oh, I've read this before! I don't know if I reviewed it but I remembered thinking it was very cute... but also very problematic for my own pet AU! LOL! We'd *seriously* be robbing the cradle!

Meldewen Ilce · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Oh, Janet, I am so glad that you're continuing this lovely fic! I cannot wait for Chapter 2 to be posted!

girlofring · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

unusual, but cute. how old are Frodo and Bilbo suppose to be in this story? It will be curiosity for this writer to see how this story progresses. Have fun with it!

Bodkin · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Very interesting!! Do the other members of the Fellowship (and Arwen) get to play?

Sorrowful_Eagle · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Wow! Fantastic idea - I can't wait to read more. There's so much you could do with this theme. It's an excellent start, and like I said, I'm hanging on for the next part. Have vague ideas about "Explorer, poet, artist, singer and scribe" - as Pippin's name means "wanderer", I'd have thought this would be him. Scribe - Bilbo? Since he wrote a lot in M-E? I won't go on - think I've said enough for now anyway! Yours in anticipation... ;) ~S

Pearl Took · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

OOOOO! Such a novel idea!! This will be fascinating to read! Well begun, my friend :)

Auntiemeesh · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

I saw this in your lj when you posted it for Melnotmeli and really liked it. I'm glad you're turning it into a longer fic. I'm looking forward to reading more of this. :)

Mum's the Word · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

AU indeed, but what a lovely concept! And after all, unless one becomes as a little child.... The reactions of Celebrian and Elrond tugged at my heart, and Gandalf is a joy. This story is smile-enducing and insightful, as befits a story from your blessed pen. Thank you for sharing "A New Life"; I look forward to the next chapter.

Connie B. · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

Oh, this is wonderful. I always thought it was so sad that Merry and Pippin had to stay behind in Middle Earth while the others all went West. I love AU stories anyway, and this is just fantastic. "Explorer, poet, artist, singer and scribe." I wonder who will fill each roll. I have an idea on a couple of them, but nothing beyond a doubt. Oh, this is going to be so much fun. Hope to see more real soon. I'm hooked. Connie B.

Lily the Hobbit · 5 November 2004 · Chapter 1: A New Life

I read this a long time ago and I loved it! I'm curious about what you will write in the chapters to come.
