I love them! I remember thinking when I read the books that they'd be perfect parents. They should have had kids. I love this: "Many things that seem foolish really are not at all." It helps me. :)
Author's reply
*bows low* That is the reason why I write. To help people. I love Goldberry and desperately wish that they'd put her and Tom in the movie...*grumps*

I've just had a horrible argument with poor Kitty about how putting Arwen in there was a feminist, 20th and 21st century change, so typical of modern movies. I should just be grateful they didn't make it more that way.
Author's reply
*nods* I guess they needed a "Love interest" or something like that. In my humble opinion, they shoulda left Glorfindel in and filmed the scene of Aragorn and Arwen's meeting to give it some romance. *grins*

Very good! Gandalf at his best. You understand his deep quiet well. :)

That's how anyone can tell I'm really upset. When I, with my hobbit stomach, can't eat! Lately with the ACT and all, my appetite's not what it was. Arrgh! Why do we do this to ourselves?
Author's reply
Sadly, I don't know....glad ya liked it, though!

*sniffles* Oh, it's too much! YOU understand there's a heart underneath all that... well, underneath all that! ;) What other "Conversations" is HE in? I think I've read everything else. Keep 'em coming!
Author's reply
Um...not sure. LOL There are too many! I certainly will keep em coming! Of course, I'd LOVE some ideas....*wink wink* Thanks for reviewing!

· Chapter 1: A Tale of Mushrooms
I love mushrooms as much as hobbitses do. No wonder there's so much confusion about what I am! :D
Author's reply
*LOL* You are a true hobbit, and I wouldn't have it ANY other way!

I just read all of your conversations, and I loved them. You have a good eye/ear for hobbits talking.
How about one of Frodo and Sam after they cross the Anduin but before they meet up with Smeagol?
Author's reply
Oooo interesting idea.....*authors brain clicks into work mode* I appreciate the compliment, the hobbit eye/ear one. It's been heartily developed by various fantasy authors, here and elsewhere. One pre-Smeagol post-Anduin conversie comin' up!

· Chapter 15: A Tale of Seasickness
This was hilarious!
You take the cliche "mad as a wet hen" and make something new and fresh of it.
There was a bit of pathos as well, at the end, for I couldn't help thinking of the near-death experiences yet to come...
Very well done!
(This is the only chapter I've read so far, due to time constraints. I sort of scanned the list of titles and picked one based on curiosity--sea sickness? LOL)
Author's reply
Yes, poor Pip, has to have several near-death experiences without Merry by his side. Thanks for the review!!

Loved this conversation between Gandalf and Pippin. Why, because I just do. LOL
Author's reply
Well, thank-you!! Pippin and Gandalf are always fun to write for. *giggles over the 'Fool of a Took' line for a couple hours....*
