Since he put the gift in Frodo's fire, I guess they'll all just have to camp out in there until it's over. :-) That's a fun gift, I like it ... Thanks for writing!

Author's reply

Thank you! We had little colored sticks that we put in our fireplace when I was growing up. I thought Frodo might enjoy them, too!

Always a good sign when someone who has been ill is hungry, though being a Hobbit not being hungry is a very bad sign! Looking for Christmas/Yule fics and catching up on ones I havn't reviewed before. Huggs, Lynda

Author's reply

*Huggs you right back* I'm happy to have written a lot of 'comfort and joy' for our beloved hobbits. You might enjoy this 'oldie' -- a series of Yule ficlets strung together by Gayalondiel, and written by eight different authors: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2197553/1/

Awww Little Pippin is just TOO adorable! love it :)

Author's reply

Thank you. Everyone is *particularly* fluffy and sweet in this particular series of stories, but Pippin is just such a charmer anyway. :D

Queen Galadriel · 30 October 2005 · Chapter 1

Oh, so much wonderful fluff at once...I'm going to burst! :-) But I love, love, love it! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

Eeee, thank you! I seem to have an insatiable need to write and read hobbit fluff. They deserve all the love, laughter, and good times they can get.

Budgielover · 20 February 2005 · Chapter 1

Awwww... So many lovely images to warm the heart as surely as a fire in the hearth. I could just see little Pippin all bundled in layers, and then the image of him in Aragorn's arms... The idea of Aragorn's gift was simply inspired, and perfect for both the story and the universe. I loved how you tied the cones in with Gandalf's fireworks. A thoroughly lovely holiday story!

Author's reply

Thank you, Budgie! I really was trying to help everyone (both readers and characters) feel warm, safe, and contented. Wish we could all have snuggled in with them that magical evening.

Tigger · 29 December 2004 · Chapter 1

I've fallen in love w/your AU world and can never seem to get enough of Estel's visits to the Shire. It seems to be just what our favourite Ranger needs too. I adore your Wee Pip though. And here, he's "all fuwwy" too...Hee!! Thanks for the delightful Christmas present!! :o)

Author's reply

Oh, what a lovely thing to say! I'm very happy in this 'universe', as well, and hope to write more of it in the coming year.

shire_perian · 14 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Poor Frodo to be sick on such a happy day. Lucky he has Aragorn. :)

Author's reply

It was a pleasure brightening up Frodo's day with a ranger-visit. Thanks for reading!

That was wonderful! It was great that Estel was back so soon after his birthday, nice of him to deliver Gandalf's gifts as well! Very sweet, only it was too short! Thank you!

Author's reply

Thank *you*! Happy Hobbitdays! :)

Grey Wonderer · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Now I feel all Christmasy! This was the perfect little Christmas fiction and I enjoyed it very much. I just love Scamp! Gandlaf's gift was also wonderful. Happy Holidays!

Thank you so much for reading. And Happy Holidays to you! :)

Breon Briarwood · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Fluff! Fluff! Fluff! Yeah! *runs to play in the snow-like mounds of fluff* Who wouldn't have a happy holiday after reading this! :D

Dreamflower · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Aawwwwww.....perfect snuggly fluff!! 8-)

Author's reply

My favorite fluff is the snuggly-type fluff! Thanks for reading! :)

Meldewen Ilce · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Lovely, Janet, and adorable! I wouldn't mind having one or two of those cones myself as they sound lovely - and if they were made bu Gandalf, who is a legend where fireworks are concerned, then I know they had to be quite lovely... Anyway, thanks for this delightful ficlet and merry Christmas! P.S. - Are you ever going to let Merry met Estel too?

Author's reply

Thank you! I'm so glad you like this. Regarding Merry... you never know! I never dreamed there would be *one* sequel to "Quarantined", let alone a 'universe' full -- I suppose that anything is possible.

Mysterious Jedi · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Lovely as always. Are you SURE this is a 1-chapter fic :) (Just b/c I'm too lazy to update doesn't mean every1 else is LOL)

Author's reply

Thank you. I don't think *this* fic will be more than one chapter, but sequels in this 'universe' do tend to pop up from time to time!

PIppinfan1988 · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

That was sooooo cute!! And wee Pippin! Can I take him home? Comfort and Joy indeed. Thank you for sharing the Yule treat. Happy Yule! :-) Pippinfan

Author's reply

Wee Pippin! Gotta love him. Thank *you*, and Happy Yule to you! :)

Auntiemeesh · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1

Awwww! So sweet, I loved everything about this. Pippin looking more round than tall because he's so bundled up (I love seeing toddlers in their winter gear, they are so cute with their little arms stuck out to the side, looking like little five-pointed stars); Frodo still a bit sick but ready to climb the walls in boredom. Gandalf's gift is perfect. If only I had a fireplace, I'd want some of those cones myself. :)

Author's reply

Glad you enjoyed! And oh yes, bundled-up toddlers in winter are just tooo cute!

girlofring · 11 December 2004 · Chapter 1
