A thought-provoking short, although with the hearse and the black horses it might be more suitable for Osgiliath than Minas Tirith. But nothing will bring Aragorn back, and I suspect he's just as pleased.

*sigh* Poor Théodred! Funnily enough, I was watching the TTT EE again today (it makes doing the ironing more bearable!) and watched this scene. Seeing it now from his POV is interesting. I wish we could have seen more of Théodred in the books. Jay

I'm reading these drabbles in order, Nic. I've never read them before and they're interesting to read one after the other. But I had to stop with this one and say YES!! Thank goodness. He's an Elrond who is NOT the nasty manipulative one PJ made. This one wants his daughter to be happy.

I agree totally - my Elrond and PJ's are practically the complete opposite of each other. I do believe that as much as he'd like to have his daughter alive and with him, he'd rather sacrifice his happiness than hers.

Love all the drabbles you have here. The one about the top that was both Arwin's and Estel was very good. Also liked the one about Halbarad, actually I loved them all.
