This is a wonderful piece :) I immensely enjoyed the comparisons and the contrasts between the four characters and the two sets of friends. Their friendships and personalities are written wonderfully... insecurities and all...! And the way in which you ended it was perfect. Excellent :)

I read both chapters, but for some reason this chapter struck me just right. Seeing Merry and Eowyn interacting with one another off the battlefield is quite lovely. I always had a soft spot for those two. Wonderful little friendship chapter here. Keep up the great work!
