*sigh* Lovely! I absolutely love your descriptions, and could feel the warmth of the sun and the cool touch of the river. Thank you for sharing this! I plan to look up more of your stories. :-)

Sun on the water, Faramir wanting to swim - the wonder is that Eowyn resisted as long as she did. Lovely, evocative story. I wrote a vaguely similar drabble before reading this one. Guess that Faramir and the water are a natural scenario waiting to happen...

I wanted to write something "easy"... with much sun, light and fresh water.... and believe it or not, at the beginning of that little tale he was actually meant to give her a swimmimng lesson. *grins*. I'm very glad that you like it!

This is such a tender, real portrait of two of my favorite characters - a treasure of a story. Thank you for writing it. jo

Thank you for your review, amiga - and one day I'll tell you how I made Ariel (who did a fine beta-reading) literally howl with laughter when I mistook one part of Faramir's horse for another...*blushes with a grin*

What a beautiful story! You really evoked this moment, this place, these people.

Thank you - those to are my personal "soft spot" in the LOTR-trilogy, and I'm deeply thankful that Tolkien wrote them. I'm very glad that you like it! Cúthalion
