Love this. It is so true with babies also. They don't do anything until they have a good reason.

When Pippin asked Merry to make him a pony if he went to Overheaven, it reminded me of the passage in Schindler's List the book where the children are being led away as they sing "Mummy Buy Me a Pony." It made this little snippet even more poignant.

What a sweet drabble. The last one was...I don't know, Merry understood what Piipin was saying, but Piipin did not with the innocence of a child *Tear* Lovely. Oh, I haven't seen Merry-lad. Is it on "stories"?
