“but I suppose we all have our burdens to bear, and mine seems to be to bring you back when you’ve gone wandering.” Good old Pippin! He's always able to make his Merry feel better. I liked the idea, that Frodo sent everyone out to search for Merry. But it was Pippin, who finally found him - the best thing that could have happened. Thank you :)

Oh I loved this. The intimacy of endearments like 'Merry-mine' and wanting Frodo to come home tugged at my heart strings.
