Thanks for linking me to this! I like how Pippin tries to cheer Frodo up and yet is also affected by his memories. It's always good to see a moment between Frodo and Pippin. My favorite part was the image Frodo has of Pippin in the first part, of Pippin as the Thain. Frodo has so many visions in the book so it makes perfect sense that he would have one of Pippin too. I liked that bit very much :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, dear! =) I always like thinking that Frodo thinks very highly of his cousins and glad that that vision was especially effective for you. :)
THank you for your review!

The heaviness is becoming greater, and it must be so very difficult for him.
Thanks.

Thank you Larner for your comments~ =) I wish Frodo does get healed in Valinor though it is always sad for me when i think of what he's lost and sacrificed because of the Quest. :(

Frodo would be torn between optimism and pessimism here, I think. Nice beginning.

Frodo was too touched to say anything. He had never heard the Elvish phrase before, and it was flattering that it came out of Pippin’s mouth, since Pippin knew almost no Elvish. The heaviness in his heart lifted a bit, for he felt indeed quite fortunate to still be among those that he loved.
How lovely. Pippin is such a wonderful blend of young, spirited hobbit lad and older, wiser advisor. What a perfect visitor for Frodo on this New Year's day.

:D I love Pippin and Frodo interaction...and i love Frodo being portrayed as wise beyond his years and PIppin to be there for Frodo as well.~

Alas, Merry and I do want to go back to Rohan and Gondor to see how our kingdoms are,” said Pippin dramatically.
Could we love Pippin more?? :D

I love the way that Pippin tries to remain on a cheerful topic throughout. I also like the fact that he is sharing his thoughts with Frodo.

It was a fun ficlet to write, and i hope i portrayed Pippin how we all imagine him to be. :) Thank you for your comment, Grey Wonderer! =)
