Queen Galadriel · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 2: TWO
Me again! And yes, I'm reviewing backwards and forwards. This chapter made me laugh. It reminded me of times with my own little siblings, or of when I myself was little and used to steal my cousins' things! LOL! God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
LOL! It is always fun with smaller cousins and siblings, isn't it? Glad you liked it. :D
Queen Galadriel · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
Aww, poor Merry! Yes, four blankets seems a little much to me, but it's so wonderful to be comfortable when you're sick... God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
Four blankets is indeed too much but I don¨t think Merry could deny his son the show of affection by putting the blanket over him, and he is at least a bit feverish so he would like to be snug I think. Thank you for reading! And God bless you too. :D
Queen Galadriel · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 3: THREE
Now *that* is just so sweet! So Sam! God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
Thank you! Sam is very sweet, isn^t he? :D
Larner · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
Yes, small Perry loves his Da, loves him enough to drag a blanket bigger than he is in to cover him with. Love it!
Author's reply
:D Thank you for reading!
Larner · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 3: THREE
How we show our love for one another! Dear, blessed Samwise Gamgee.
Author's reply
Yes, dear, blessed Sam! He is one of a kind. :D
Larner · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 2: TWO
The scent of a loved one is comforting....
Author's reply
yes isn¨t it? :D
Grey Wonderer · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
Lovely Merry H/C. I loved it when his little three-year-old brought him a blanket.
Author's reply
Thank you! Yes I think Perry was quite cute too, lol.
Grey Wonderer · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 3: THREE
That is the Sam that we all know and love. Giving everything to make Frodo more comfortable.
Grey Wonderer · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 2: TWO
There is nothing like having your own special blanket. I imagine that Merry took a great deal of comfort from that blanket since it was Frodo's.Lovely story!
Author's reply
Yes I think he did that too. I am glad you liked it! :D
Grey Wonderer · 8 December 2005 · Chapter 1: ONE
So sweet and I could see Sam and Merry sleeping all warm and cozy.
Author's reply
Nothing is as sweet as hobbit (lads) wrapped up snuggly, is it?
Larner · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 1: ONE
Nice to see the two of them playing together and getting dried off together, too!
Author's reply
Thanks. I think that both Bilbo and Frodo would treat Sam as they treated Merry when he was little, the two lads playing together as often as Merry visited.
Pearl Took · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
aw!! I love wee Periadoc :) :) And Pip helping to take care of Merry is so sweet. Well done on all of these, Anso :)
Author's reply
Thank you! And thank you for reading. I am glad you enjoyed it. :D
harrowcat · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
Ah, this is great. Thanks for the fluff alert! Just the right read as I prepare to snuggle down for the night. Unfortunately it's an early start too!
Author's reply
*tucks you up snugly* Thank you for reading! Glad you enjoyed it. :D
Pearl Took · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 3: THREE

Pearl Took · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 2: TWO
That getting a hug feeling of wrapping up in something you associate with some one you love :) Another good "aaaawwwww!" story :)
Author's reply
Awww. Thank you. :D Hobbits are best snuggled up, aren¨t they? ;)
Pearl Took · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 1: ONE
It is so nice to remember how close in age Merry and Sam are. This was so sweet :)
Author's reply
Thank you. They are really close, aren't they? :D
Dreamflower · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 4: FOUR
And you end the little series with absolutely perfect Classic Anso Merry h/c! I like that it is not *only* Pippin watching out for him, but his little Perry, and Estella as well! I can just imagine him at the end, all cocooned in the comfy blankets, warm and snug, and safe and loved. Take a bow, my dear, for a lovely little series of ficlets!!
Author's reply
Well, I couldn¨t not be mean to Merry, if only just a little, when I first started writing again, now could I? A warm and snug and safe and loved Merry is the best thing, isn¨t it? *bowes* Thank you for such lovely words dear! :D
Dreamflower · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 3: THREE
Oh yes! This was so Sam! He wouldn't think twice about giving Frodo all the blankets, or anything else he had! Beautiful--and it shows that you *can* write other hobbits without Merry once in a while! (But not too often, I hope--he might get jealous!)
Dreamflower · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 2: TWO
Yes, blankets and other snugglies are so important to youngsters. I remember my son had a pillow--named "Pillow", of course--that he completely wore out. I love that Merry still takes around the blanket, even when visiting. And the part where Pippin immediately *knew* it had been Frodo's blanket was so sweet. He does know his Merry so well, and yes, he loves his Frodo too! And the ending, where Merry found something else special to cuddle up with was just *nice*! (And I mean that in a *very* good way!!!)
Author's reply
Thank you for such nice words! :D I had a bear I cuddled to pieces when I was little. It lost its head several times and also the eyes and an arm, lol. Sadly enough it is thrown away now. I didn¨t give the hobbits age in these fics, but I think Merry would indeed take it with him yes, at least for osme years.
Dreamflower · 7 December 2005 · Chapter 1: ONE
I adore this! I totally adore it! There are so *few* little Merry&Sam fics, yet, it so makes sense that they would be friends and playmates whenever Merry visited Bag End. The thought of the two of them all snuggled up by the fire just makes me melt.
Author's reply
Thank you! :D I think it is quite natural that they would be friends too actually and played as often as Merry visited at Bag End.
