Awww, that's so cute!

Ah, the joys of little brothers and cousins who like to see big sisters flustered! Ah, poor Pippin.

Anso the Hobbit · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 3: A Sticky Situation

*snickers* Those two rascals! I really enjoyed this. :D

Hobbits! indeed. *giggle* But who could possibly resist Pippin when he is at his Tookish best? Not Gandalf, that's for sure. “I will try not to dash this pastry’s hopes for happiness, then,” Gandalf said, accepting it. I think this line was my favourite - and then the poor wizard had to sacrifice it to his fellow wizard! Absolutely delightful tale. Can't get enough hobbit fluff!

Can't get enough hobbit fluff! Who can? :)

Bodkin · 15 January 2006 · Chapter 2: The Inquisitiveness of Tooks

What a seriously cute Pippin! With extra-good wizarding powers when it comes to eating pastries! I'm not surprised Gandalf finds him hard to resist.

Author's reply

Let's all face it: NOBODY can resist wee!Pippin! :D

Oh my! This is so adorable! Pippin is so sweet and inquisitive and his questions are so Pippinish. I love how Gandalf humors him and goes along with his questions and his magical wizarding abilities.

Author's reply

I think Gandalf would go along with a young hobbit. Who wouldn't? :)

Antane · 14 January 2006 · Chapter 1: Birthday Gifts

Sweet! Love what Elanor did for Legolas and all proper like with the signatures and everything and Frodo-lad's scribbles was a cute touch. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

shirebound · 14 January 2006 · Chapter 2: The Inquisitiveness of Tooks

Could this be any more adorable? “I will try not to dash this pastry’s hopes for happiness, then,” Gandalf said, accepting it. Pippin grinned and fell back to asking questions- he still had quite a few bouncing around in his brain. :D

If it's got wee!Pippin, it must be naturally adorable. :D

Baggins Babe · 9 January 2006 · Chapter 1: Birthday Gifts

This was adorable! How sweet and generous of Elanor to want to share her birthday with our beloved Elf. I loved her attention to hobbit legal detail too. She's a sweetie.

Author's reply

I think hobbits are all so meticulous when it comes to detail, deep down inside. Thanks for reading!

OhmygoshthathastobethecutestfulffiestthingEVER!!!! LOL! Sorry 'bout that, but I swear, that absolutely gave me the warmest warm fuzzies! It is in my top 5, right up there with Legolas holding a baby hobbit and singing to it! (had to check: Songspinners story New Music. He's singing to baby Faramir.) Although SS's wasn't nearly as fluffy... this one wins the Fluffy Award hands down! LOL :) So darling! Elenor and Legolas.... who'da thunk it? ::grins:: More fluff, please!! :)

Author's reply

Ooh, a Fluffy Award! Do I have to make a speech? :D Thanks for reading!

I remember this--it's just as cute now as it was then! I'm so glad you posted it here!

Very nicely thought out gift, and love Frodo-lad's venturing from writing into drawing. And the hobbit attention to legal conventions as well! Heh!

Author's reply

I based Frodo-lad on my little brother when he was four or so. I swear, that kid must have had ADD at that age, because he'd move from one toy to the other, no rhyme or reason!

Mum's the Word · 8 January 2006 · Chapter 1: Birthday Gifts

Oh, I'm so glad to get to read this again! I just love the picture of the tiny hobbit-lass and the tall elf-warrior. Elanor's gift was just wonderful, and the detail of all the signatures was lovely. And the ending was simply perfect. Your story has put a smile on my face, and I can't seem to get it off! Hugs, brownies, and blessings, Mum

Author's reply

Hobbits seem to have that smile-inducing effect, don't they? :) Thanks for reading!
