Queen Galadriel · 28 February 2006 · Chapter 40: Daisy

I think the Elves have gotten quite used to all my eccentricities and do nothing but smile and rejoice with me. LOL! Love that line! I wish everyone would get used to *my* eccentricities. They don't involve shouting out in the middle of the night :), but sometimes I think they're much worse. God bless, Galadriel

Queen Galadriel · 28 February 2006 · Chapter 39: Master of Buckland

Oh, poor Frodo, to lose yet another father figure. But there's one he can never lose, ever, and that's a comforting thought. :) God bless, Galadriel

Larner · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 36: A Little Fishing Expedition

So glad Sam is coming to terms with water at last. Lovely descriptions.

Larner · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 37: A Day at the Fair

For me the Fair is also one of the highlights of my year, as it has been since I was a child.

Larner · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 35: The Hall of Fire

Glad he feels Aragorn's song and love as well. (Did I ever tell you I've been in love with Aragorn since I first read LOTR at thirteen? Almost forty-six years now!)

Larner · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 34: Goldilocks

Ah, little Goldilocks finally here, too. Wonderful!

Larner · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 33: Faramir the Took

Yes, the Squeak is a dad now, and thoroughly convinced he's the first and most blessed, as is true of every decent father, I think. Glad there's rejoicing on both sides of the Sundering Sea.

Queen Galadriel · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 38: Hamfast

I didn't think I'd ever get to read this one! Internet is being weird and annoying again. Yes, the poor old Gaffer would be glad to have a namesake, I think. I love imagining him as a grandfather. If only he had lived to see his little namesake... God bless, Galadriel

Queen Galadriel · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 36: A Little Fishing Expedition

Well, I thought the last was my favourite, but maybe this one is. :) I just love reading about all the little Gamgees, especially Frodo lad and Elanor; I always have. And I love how you write them! More! :) God bless, Galadriel

Queen Galadriel · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 37: A Day at the Fair

Aw, this is my favourite! I love the description of the fair and Sam's anecdote about his illness in childhood. I love Sam h/c almost as much as I do Frodo h/c! :) God bless, Galadriel

Queen Galadriel · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 35: The Hall of Fire

This is my favourite part: It soothes me like nothing else to know that we are all still together and I surrounded by even more love here than I have ever been. Come, my brother, when you know the time is right. I will be here to welcome you. I love you so. Beautiful! He deserves all that love! BTW, I have gotten all your mail and have been trying to reply for three days. I keep getting interrupted by such trivial things as sleeping and meals. But my mom has finally gotten tired of my keeping such late hours and it makes everything so much harder. :( God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 35: The Hall of Fire

I am glad that Frodo has got to the point that he can accept the wait for Sam with such joy.

harrowcat · 27 February 2006 · Chapter 34: Goldilocks

Nice one Antane although the bit about the timing is funny! *g* Many babies seem to like being born at night I think.

Larner · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 32: Pipsqueak

Mutual rejoicing is very nice.

Larner · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 31: A Big Birthday

An interesting place to celebrate all the birthdays. But a good way.

Larner · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 30: Passing of the Gaffer

And spiritually they do hold one another, feeling one another's loss.

Larner · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 29: Mathoms

Sweet memories indeed.

Queen Galadriel · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 34: Goldilocks

Oh, I had to laugh at Frodo's remark about having her born at a more decent hour! LOL! That's great! Loved this one! God bless, Galadriel

Queen Galadriel · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 33: Faramir the Took

Well, my little ’squeak is all grown up now. Awww! How sweet! "Passing of the Gaffer" is very poignant, especially that bit about not being just a moment apart any more. And I love the mutual joy whenever a child is born! And the birthday celebrations sound so much fun! Can I come? :) God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 26 February 2006 · Chapter 33: Faramir the Took

At least by now the elves must be getting used to this sccentric Baggins.

Starfire_Moonlight · 25 February 2006 · Chapter 33: Faramir the Took

I could only imagin how excited Pippin but be when he's a father. :)

harrowcat · 25 February 2006 · Chapter 32: Pipsqueak

I’m going to sing your praises in the Hall of Fire tonight. My friends do let me indulge myself there sometimes, though I am much more often an avid observer. Well now if you substitute SOA for Hall of Fire you have me! Another lovely chapter. The Song as Frodo hears it is getting more and more strands!

harrowcat · 25 February 2006 · Chapter 31: A Big Birthday

Happy, happy birthday Frodo!! I wish that I could join you in the pint!

Author's reply

Don't we all and I don't even drink, but just to be with him, heaven enough! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Larner · 24 February 2006 · Chapter 28: Snow Angels

Yes, his looked after very well indeed.

Larner · 24 February 2006 · Chapter 26: A Merry Birth

The awareness is wonderful. Glad he knows when they are conceived and then born. More movie-verse, I see.
