Amazing conflict of spirit. I love the way you have interspersed the memories of his parents among the temptations and thoughts of the present. Love the line about ridding the land of evil one arc at a time. Nicely done.

He lowers his bow. He does not need the power of the One Ring to avenge them. One Orc at a time, he shall rid the world of their darkness That's a very creative scene; I had never thought about the Ring's possible influence on the inhabitants of Lorien.
