Larner · 25 March 2006 · Chapter 4: The New Year

Yes, the Ringbearer is hopefully finding the healing he needs, and the Lord Samwise the Faithful has hope indeed. Although canonically Elanor was born on this day and was only six months old when Frodo left the Shire, still the idea she spoke first to Frodo on the anniversary of this day is a wonderful one.

Yes, I like being able to twist things just a little. But when do hobbits usually begin talking anyways? Thanks for reviewing, glad you enjoyed it! God bless, Elanor

Osgiliath is being rebuilt and I know the view gives Da hope that Uncle Frodo will be healed as well. That's really nice. :D

Lovely. The understanding of Rosie of Sam and Frodo's relationship is beautifully expressed. One correction--the bow is the front of the ship, and the stern the rear. He wouldn't be stepping up to the stern to look ahead.

Author's reply

Thank you for telling me! *ooops* I'm not that much of a ship expert, so i keep forgetting. Glad you liked it though! God bless, Ellie

Glad you liked it! It was rather different writing about someone so un-hobbity as Elrond, but it turned out all right. Thanks for reviewing! God bless, mellon nin! Ellie

Hey I loved your story! I laughed. To think of all that the hobbits have to share with us!!! I know that I say it all the time, but write more!!! Lorain, Bacon! God bless, Goldberry

Author's reply

Glad I got you to laugh! Yeah, hobbits can share our bacon, too, huh? Btw-can I call you Goldie here, or what do you want me to call you, you have an awfully long name. Lorain, Bacon! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 11 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Breakfast with Hobbits

Learning the ways of Hobbits will be definitely an education for those who've not met their kind before. Although being from Gondor Boromir would be more likely to think of them as "pheriannath" than "periannath."

Author's reply

Thanks for telling me! I'm never sure how to spell such words, i see them so many different ways here and there! Thanks for reviewing! God bless, Ellie
