Queen Galadriel · 23 September 2006 · Chapter 3: Happy Birthday, "The Hobbit!"

I know I already commented on this on lj, but I had to read it again! This is my favourite line: "We thanksss you, Professor. For creating the preciousss," said Gollum, straightening the "happy birthday" hat atop his head. LOL! Gollum in a party hat! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

I'm rather fond of that line myself. Thanks for taking the time to post a review again!

Queen Galadriel · 23 September 2006 · Chapter 2: Making Scents of Things

LOL! Oh, this story looked so like being a tear-jerker, and I'm left laughing! Poor Merry! :) God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

I honestly feel sorry for Merry, always being left behind. However, I just couldn't resist this little bit of fun!

Queen Galadriel · 23 September 2006 · Chapter 1: Into the Abyss

Oh wow. Incredible. Incredibly angsty, incredibly powerful. God bless, Galadriel

Frodo's entire life was pretty incredible and certainly gives lots of rooom for writing angst. Thanks for reviewing!

Larner · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 3: Happy Birthday, "The Hobbit!"

Hooray for Tolkien! Hip, hip Hooray!

Author's reply

Hooray for Tolkien, indeed!

Larner · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 2: Making Scents of Things

What a reason to find for why he's always the one left behind or that they wish he'd been left behind! Hehehehehehe! That ending was a surprise, and a lovely one.

Author's reply

I don't think Merry would agree with you that the ending was a lovely one, but I sure had fun with it! lol!

Larner · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 1: Into the Abyss

Yes, all appears lost, and yet he was redeemed and relieved in the end, and found his own end surrounded no longer by molten rock but by love. Poignant.

What a beautiful review - thank you.

Such a lovely image to chew on with breakfast!

Author's reply

What a hobbity compliment! Thanks!

Lindelea · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 2: Making Scents of Things

LOL! Very funny! I have to admit, I was reminded of a certain deodorant commercial, dimly remembered. And also the phrase, "Was it something I said?"

Author's reply

Hmm... I think I missed that commercial, but it certainly sounds like the same idea!

EstellaB · 2 August 2006 · Chapter 2: Making Scents of Things

Lol! I thought this was going to be sad and angsty-so the conclusion came as a bit of a shock!

Author's reply

Oh, excellent! That's just what I meant to do!

Dreamflower · 15 April 2006 · Chapter 1: Into the Abyss

Absolutely angsty! It's interesting how often Frodo lost that which he loved in such a manner--I'd not quite thought of it that way before! Good job!

Author's reply

It is rather angsty, isn't it? Fortunately, Frodo did not really lose Gandalf when Gandalf tumbled into the abyss with the Balrog, but Frodo of course didn't know that until after he woke up at Cormallen.

Elanor Silmariën · 14 April 2006 · Chapter 1: Into the Abyss

Author's reply
