An invitation to journey to Harad and participate in the annual Gathering quickly turns dangerous for Aragorn, Eomer, Legolas, and Gimli. Caught in a web of deceit and manipulation, the forces of Gondor and Rohan soon find themselves battling a group that traces its origins back to one of Sauron's oldest allies.
