LOL! Oh, poor Bilbo! And he was *this* close to a clean getaway! Much, much fun!

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed. Poor old Bilbo ... once Pippin got done with him I think he forwent his now cold tea & went on to find the strongest ale he could. LOL!! Thanks for reading & reviewing.

Oh, yes, our most irrepressible of Hobbits! Lovely! And Frodo is still advising on how to get into mischief, is he? Heheheheheheeh!

Author's reply

Once a mischief-maker, always a mischief maker! Frodo better hope Pippin's slip ups don't include the aunts ... or Pearl! I'm glad you enjoyed, Larner.

Cute! Poor Bilbo, but Pippin did ask very politely! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane

Thanks! Poor Pippin just didn't understand his uncle's need to relax. Namarie

“You don’t want to wait for Frodo?” Bilbo asked hopefully. “Nope,” Pippin replied in an easy manner. “I would like to know now, please.” LOL! That's wonderful! Little Pippin is very persistent, but he did add a "please". So, Frodo sent Merry to put the frog in Pearl's bed? That rascal! Bilbo's right: he still has to be looked after ;-)

I'm glad you liked! I'm sure Eglantine & Paladin will be very pleased to know how polite their little lad can be. :) I think Bilbo secretly enjoys being kept on his toes by the former 'terror of Buckland.' LOL! Thanks for reading & reviewing, Andrea!

Queen Galadriel · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 1

LOL! Oh my goodness, that is too cute! Leave it to Pippin to ask the impossible questions! And the frogs...LOL! I can see that--"Pearl loves frogs, Merry. Just leave her one on her pillow tonight. She'll be so pleased." Yeah right! *grin* God bless, Galadriel

This story was inspired by my random thoughts. When I first read the Hobbit, I wondered "hmm, so how _does_ Gandalf know Bilbo would make a good burglar?' Other than the smallness & silent feet of a hobbit, of course. Out of all the hobbits, Pippin seemed the likliest to have these questions as well. I know ... shame on Frodo for telling Merry that frogs were Pearl's absolute favorite animals. NOT!!!! Namarie, Queen Galadriel! Thanks for reading & reviewing, as always.

Oh, this was just adorable. Curious Pippin as a child - just lovely!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed & thank you for reading & reviewing.

shirebound · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 1

Very cute! I'm surprised none of the children have asked Bilbo those questions before. Leave it to Pippin...

Author's reply

I almost had a wee Frodo to be the one asking the questions ... but Pippin just fit better, he's more of the pestering sort I think. I'm glad you liked it! Namarie, Shirebound!

SlightlyTookish · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 1

Uh oh, now that Pippin knows Bilbo will answer his questions he'll never stop asking! This is very cute :)

Author's reply

Thank you, Slighty Tookish. This was my first Pippin fic & I'm glad you enjoyed it. Now that Bilbo has seen Pippin in action, he'll be sure not to get caught alone with him again, as lovable as the little guy is. Beware Frodo--old eccentric uncle sending hyper, persistent Took your way! LOL! Then again, Bilbo should be quite used to the Tookish ways by now.

harrowcat · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 1

Hee hee! 'Everyone should have a hobbit or two in their care'! Even other hobbits should try a Took!

Author's reply

LOL!!! The trouble is, Pippin's just too cute & can charm anyone. Thanks for reading & reviewing, Harrowcat!
