Wow, Meckinock, I really enjoyed that. I always love stories about Faramir because he is the embodiment of h/c to me. What a lovely piece, very moving and poignant. I think Nilmandra needs to have more birthdays if these stories are to keep coming! :D LOL Happy Birthday Nilmandra!!

Nilmandra deserves to have a birthday every week, though I don't know if I could keep up with them. Also she might object to adding them all up :-) Glad you enjoyed the story. Writing Faramir came as a spur-of-the-moment decision and I'm glad you thought it worked out. I didn't want to do anything too gloomy as a birthday story but I'm afraid I couldn't stay away from angst entirely.
