For those of you who enjoyed the award-winning 'Fear' (which has just made the Mithril finals!), here is another in-depth, intricatedly plotted and detailed prequest saga for you. Pearl Took wasn't like other girls. A tomboy who adores her father, she will do anything to help him gain Thainship. Even if it means becoming Lalia's apprentice. And then, one spring day, a kiss from a sweet cousin steals her heart and seals her fate. (First three chapters originally published as a part of the 2006 Spring Frodo Fics, but the story is continued here.)
