"May peace come to you all, my sons...."
I only just found this--thank you so much! I don't think I ever had a dedication before! :) There is something about this line that hits me where I live--isn't it interesting that they had to go in search of peace in the end, when they were so rich in love and friendship and memory otherwise? That is a really cool idea, and it's still pinging in my mind. I think you will see it come back to you one of these days!

*hands Galadriel a tissue* Thank you for letting me know that I moved you so much with this story. I find it very rewarding to try to look at things from new perspectives at times, and this was one of them.
Take care.

That's beautiful. I love the Shire appreciating those who gave everything they had to defend and keep her safe.

Thank you. The Shire seems to me every bit as much of a character in the books as the individuals themselves. I am certain she knew of their sacrifices and appreciated them.
