Wonderfully unique, at least in my reading experience. It's haunting. Well done, Agape!

Queen Galadriel · 15 February 2007 · Chapter 1: Between Friends - A poem

The summary caught my attention, and I had to read. Very chilling, and very well done. God bless, Galadriel

I read this on the list, and am very impressed. Oh, poor Smeagol, to have lost that love in such a way. Heart deceived by the Ring made by the Deceiver.

Author's reply

Thank you, Larner. *blushes* not used to writing poetry but that's what I 'heard' and so it was written as heard... poor Smeagol???? LOL - poor Deagol! And didn't Smeagol end up being the Deceiver - to himself, to Deagol, to Sauron, and to Frodo...

A very chilling twist at the end, I liked this.

Author's reply

Thanks Linda - that last line was most difficult to figure out - but well worth the time spent on it!

Well I guess that was sweet considering who you were writing about!LOL Happy Valentines Day!

Author's reply

When I first 'heard' it - I thought it was too whimsical and sickly sweet - until that last line of the first stanza... then I realized why I was being asked to write.... Happy Valentine's to you to! And thanks for the comment! Appreciate all...

Raksha The Demon · 14 February 2007 · Chapter 1: Between Friends - A poem

Well, Gollum's one true love was that little band of gold. Valentine's Day must have been very odd for them all those years; what does one give the Ring that has your soul? Original idea and nice poetry.

Author's reply

Oh - I like that Raksha - I had the idea that the Valetine was for Deagol - but it probably was for the Ring - for did it not hold his heart and soul!?! *shivers*
