Chilling. I am sure that Denethor had more and more of those sorts of disorienting dreams and experiences the more he relied on the palantir.

The lad was definitly under a lot of strain, being the Steward's son and expected to be 'perfect' - so it didn't surprise me to see that stress turned into nightmares. And yes, the Palantir would probably cause a LOT more! Thanks ever so much for reading and especially for your comment!

I love it when these little 'thoughts' hit your mind. It made perfect sense. Poor Orc. I hope Pip knew he had struck one of the first blows for the Hobbits agains the forces of Mordor! Go, Pip!!!
