That was lovely. I do see Merry and Pippin as helping each other all through their lives no matter what the trouble. I enjoyed this very much.

“We’re in this together, Pip,” Merry said. “I’m here for you, and we’re in this together.” Pippin smiled, a true, happy smile. “Aye, Merry. We’re in this together.” Merry squeezed his cousin’s hand, and they continued on their breakfast This is the true friendship we all hope we find. :)
