The Haradrim have focused on the Citadel Guard, have they? And Ingold is now in the full clutches of the drug AND its suppliers! Now, to find him before he has a chance to do treason....

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 10: Dreamflower

Ah, Dreamflower! He wakens once more, and realizes just how foolish a Took he's been. But I'm so glad that he trusted both Boromir and those who waited to catch and embrace him. Yes, Frodo has stronger arms than he realizes, and Pippin is ever loved. And love the confusion of the healer who finds things are done in unconventional ways at times. Heh!

Dreamflower's reply: Thank you, Larner! It was nice to have had the *entire* Fellowship in this story, one way or another. Frodo can always be strong, I think, for others--and especially for his beloved cousins and Sam--it's just when it comes to himself that he loses confidence. And I could imagine how flustered the healer must have been to see the King encourage all those hobbits to get up in the bed with the patient! LOL!

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 9: Lindelea

Ah, Targon--you're in for a questioning now, I think! Love the use of salt as part of the soldier's pay--SALARY indeed! (I have that book, of course, in my own library....)

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 8: Piplover

The soldier of Gondor trusting the orders of the Captain-General----and his friend! Now, to see that trust fulfilled.

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 7: Ariel

Ah, to call him back. And surely Frodo has that strength....

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 6: Rosietook

Hopefully it is good news. And Sam and Merry now rest, I hope, as does Pippin.

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 5: Dreamflower

Ah, no! What a choice to lay before Frodo! No matter which choice, Pippin's life is already on the line. What a grief to contemplate! And love that Faramir sees for himself how Aragorn came by his Breeland nickname! Heh!

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 4: Cathleen

Poor thing! He's OD'd himself, apparently; and on top of insufficient sleep already is needing immediate attention. Yes, getting the King would undoubtedly help a good deal! Hurry!

Author's reply

Yes, poor Pip! He certainly didn't use the best of judgment on that one, did he? Thank you so very much for commenting!! Cathleen

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 3: Slightly Tookish

A HANDFUL? Ah, but he IS Pippin, dear, impetuous Pippin, after all. Foolish Took! Now, will he get home safely to have that sleep?

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 2: Auntie Meesh

Ah, the tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive.... That is how the old saw goes, does it not? And our Pippin is determined to weave his, isn't he? If only he'd speak to Aragorn....

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 1: Lindelea

Aye--just a pinch might be enough--had he the courage to try it! Alas, Pippin--doomed to be tired this day!

Larner · 6 April 2008 · Chapter 0: Piplover

Ah, the memories of trauma and loss. Poor Pippin!

Andrea · 5 April 2008 · Chapter 18: Gryffinjack

Dear PippinHealers, That was a wonderful story and I enjoyed it a great deal! As was commented before, the different characters were perfectly done. And the last chapter was too funny :) "Oi! Strider! Healers! Is anyone out there?" cried Pippin. "I'm really pretty tired of falling now." LOL!!! This reminds me of a very special hero, a hero of a famous computer adventure series called "Monkey Island" (I played the first part in 1990). His name is Guybrush. And he is hanging on a cliff, literally, since the year 2000, I think. I'm still waiting for a sequel. Maybe, he's falling now, too ;-)

Janet · 5 April 2008 · Chapter 18: Gryffinjack

Hello Ladies. I want to tell you what a wonderful job each one of you did writing this story. It had all the elements a well written, entertaining story should have. Duspence, humor, hurt, comfort and sorrow and I very much ejoyed reading it. Gryffinjack, this last chapter was just too funny. The poor characters have to hang in limbo until the muses make an appearence again. Maybe in the future you all will write a round robin agory again. That would be nice. Sincery, Janet

Pipsong · 3 April 2008 · Chapter 2: Auntie Meesh

Poor Pippin, and he almost set the house on fire too. I wonder what will happen at the tavern? This story continues to get more interesting with each chapter!

Pipsong · 3 April 2008 · Chapter 1: Lindelea

This chapter of the story is very intriguing and I love the foreshadowing of what's to come. I'll bet Pippin is going to get more than he bargained for with that powder. Off to read the next one.

Pipsong · 3 April 2008 · Chapter 0: Piplover

Oh, this is off to a really great start and I can't wait to read more!
