Horrific and tragic; with excellent descriptions of the great wave itself.

You have captured her shock and anger so well, as well as the blame such as she must have cast not on themselves for tolerating abomination but on those they ought to be turning to. And the imagery of her standing on the dusty hill, about to be overwhelmed by that black wall of water! Well, that hilltop won't be dusty any more, will it? Excellent!

Powerful stuff! Numenor + OC + philosophy? Did I ask for this fic? In all seriousness, this was well written and did a good job of expanding horizons for the reader. I'd like to see more from you. ~Celeritas
