Young Frodo Gamgee, serving the King for a year in Annúminas is a bit homesick, but a visit from his father cheers him up. (This story was begun as a response to a time-stamp meme given me by Linda Hoyland, and finished as my April entry in the LOTR GFIC Community's "Renewal" Challenge. It is a sequel of sorts to "Good King Elessar".)
