A great ending for a classic fish story-in-Middle-Earth. I love the legacy of the book of strange happenings, and the reference to the "talking eagle".

I saw pictures of a giant squids in a museum, plus I have seen a lot of documental about them, it is scary to know that they are real and still alive in deep oceans. I read one, that they are the cause of the Sea monsters in so many mythologies around the World. This is such a wonderful tale, I really loved. It was so funny at the end to have Eomer believing that all the monsters stories could be real, and have all of them opting for hunting the White Stag in the future.

Yes, I did a bit of research and some have been dragged up from the deep ocean. I wonder if it was the last Squid-hunt in Dol Amroth? LBJ
