Oh - that's lovely - I can just see the two of them.

UTfrog · 28 November 2010 · Chapter 27: #27 - Craftsman (Fourth Age, The Glittering Caves, Rohan)
Great addition to your great series. I like the genuine friendship revealed in this piece. Gimli and Legolas are both proud of what they accomplished.
Nieriel Raina · 27 November 2010 · Chapter 27: #27 - Craftsman (Fourth Age, The Glittering Caves, Rohan)
Oh I just LOVE this!!!!! Very nice!
shirebound · 26 November 2010 · Chapter 25: #25: Newborn (Fourth Age 21, Minas Tirith, Gondor)
The image of Aragorn holding a teensy tiny hobbit baby... *happy sigh*
UTfrog · 25 November 2010 · Chapter 24: #24 - Solstice (Seventh Age, Current Year, Wiseman. Alaska)
Lovely! Thank you.
Linda Hoyland · 25 November 2010 · Chapter 23: #23 - Wassail (TA 2957, December, Edoras, Rohan)
I enjoyed this glimpse of Aragorn in Rohan.
Raksha The Demon · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 14: #14 - Filemot (Fourth Age, East Lorien)
Very wistful look at the fading of the mallorns and Lorien itself; and quite Tolkienish. Poor Celeborn. Nicely done!
Raksha The Demon · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 17: #17 - Boots (TA 3019, December, Rivendell)
That's just the type of practical, good advice that a seasoned soldier like Boromir would provide - I can definitely see the hobbits putting on some kind of protective footwear to prevent frostbite...
Raksha The Demon · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 18: #18 - Competition (FA 4, Bree, at the Great Bree Midsummer Fair)
What a charming drabble, bringing home the mostly harmonious multiculturalism of Bree, with hobbits and humans living and working side by side. It certainly must have been intimidating for a human to enter a cooking contest with a hobbit! Well-written and original.
Raksha The Demon · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 20: #20 - Foreboding (TA 3018, Late July, Rohan)
So sad. And Theodred's presence makes Boromir's foreboding all the more poignant, since their trajectories are strangely parallel.
Raksha The Demon · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 16: #16 - Homesick (TA 3018, Ithilien, Gondor)
A lovely drabble that pinpoints, simply and credibly, the homesickness of soldiers billeted far from their families. Faramir is well-written too. The Rangers' voices are very clear. Good job, Rhyselle!
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 23: #23 - Wassail (TA 2957, December, Edoras, Rohan)
I'm glad I could help you find a good title :) Extra info in case people don't know: Wassail: Particularly popular in Germanic countries, the term itself is a contraction of the Middle English phrase wæs hæil, meaning "be healthy". Westu hál means "be healthy" in Rohirric, and is traditionally used to greet the king, so I thought the title appropriate.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 24 November 2010 · Chapter 22: #22 - Mallorn (Fourth Age 121, Bag End, Hobbiton, The Shire)
Oh, poor Mallorn! Well, all things that live must die (unless they're immortal, which a Mallorn certainly is not), and its time came. Still, poor tree.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 21: #21 - Stew (Fourth Age 2, Bag End, Hobbiton, The Shire)
You know, I never thought of that! I imagine they did, and I do hope the Rangers were properly grateful!
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 20: #20 - Foreboding (TA 3018, Late July, Rohan)
*shivers* Oh, well done, you captured the foreboding well indeed. Neither Man will see the other again outside MAndos.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 19: #19 - Bitter (TA 1552, Harad)
You know that snippet from Harad I showed you...I think you inspired it by posting this one. So I have Kipling, Lewis, Tolkien and you to thank for it. Yay! Well done.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 18: #18 - Competition (FA 4, Bree, at the Great Bree Midsummer Fair)
Hurrah for Mrs. Butterbur! And so a Woman can hold her own against the best Hobbitesses in the Shire! Perfect!
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 17: #17 - Boots (TA 3019, December, Rivendell)
Hurrah for the boots! Very important, those. Definitely.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 16: #16 - Homesick (TA 3018, Ithilien, Gondor)
Awww. I know what it's like to be homesick...at least, if "home is where the heart is". It's odd...once I was, technically, home, I became "homesick" for England, and in a rather hobbity fashion, missed the food quite a lot...not to mention good friends and my family.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 15: #15 - Thief (TA 2985, The Marish, The Shire)
Hahaha!!! Poor Farmer Maggot getting an earful from his wife! Oh, I wonder what would happen if Mrs. Maggot caught Frodo herself one day!
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 14: #14 - Filemot (Fourth Age, East Lorien)
Awww...I hope Celeborn will soon sail!
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 13: #13 - Patience (Fourth Age, Tookland, The Shire)
Aww, Faramir! I wonder if he ever went to Gondor to meet his namefather, or if Steward Faramir came North and the Hobbits met him outside the Shire? (in accordance with that blasted Ban...)
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 12: #12 - Departure (SA 3433, The Grey Havens)
I love this one...and the names!! What do they mean?
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 11: #11 - Hero (TA 3019, April, Minas Tirith)
A very belated Happy Veterans'/Remembrance Day to you, my friend. Thank you, and Eru bless you.
Kaylee Arafinwiel · 23 November 2010 · Chapter 10: #10 - Secret (TA 3019, Summer, Dol Amroth)
Dol Amroth Blue! I love it! How is indigo obtained, by the way? That's the color I thought of, but I'm not sure how the original dye was procured.
