· Chapter 17: Another Busy Day (Sam and Frodo)
You portrayed Sam so well, a born caregiver whether he's caring for Frodo, the weary, hungry fellowship or a little group of quail whose numbers were dangerously reduced by the toxic environment of the war. Frodo was glad, as am I to see Sam so pleasantly occupied in a way he surely missed during the quest.
Next, might you show us how Frodo spent his time while Sam was busy with his happy mission?

· Chapter 16: Paying it Forward (Bilbo and Sam)
... and I somehow sense they will need one another to complete our story.
Bilbo does not know yet how right he is! In fact Frodo and Sam will both take part in completing the story.
The result is the greatest story I've ever read :-)
Author's reply
I wholeheartedly agree, Andrea. What an incredible Tale. :)

Uh oh -- Sam doesn't know yet what he just agreed to! :-P But of course he'll help and be glad to do it, because that's just how Sam is...
Good old Sam. :-)
Thanks for writing!
Author's reply
Dear Sam! I'm glad you enjoyed this. :)

· Chapter 16: Paying it Forward (Bilbo and Sam)
Nice! I like it. Alas, Sam was compelled to part company with Frodo when the latter left Middle-earth with Bilbo and Gandalf, but none of them could foresee that as yet
Author's reply
Thank goodness for fanfic, which eventually brings them back together again. *beams*

· Chapter 15: One Shining Moment
One thing that has always impressed me about Celebrimbor, as opposed to Feanor, was that he did not hold his treasures jealously to himself, but instead sought to enrich all who received the rings wrought through his craft. Thus all were safely away from him ere Sauron came to demand them, save those for Men.
Author's reply
Interestingly, my newest story will also bring that theme of enriching others through one's craft; that's something I greatly appreciate in life as well as fiction. Bless the Professor for bringing us so many good examples.

A fitting tribute - and his entire life was an even greater one. Estel whether he carried that name or not - he was that to the end of days.

He truly was. Such a noble, good, truly king-like man. He deserved every joy his life could bring him.

What a lovely idea having Arathorn and Gilraen united in death symbolized by one stone.
