This is such a beautiful and sad fanfic! I watched Born of Hope yesterday, and Halbarad's line is probably my favorite part now ;) It's just so... heartbreaking! ;)

Amazingly, I just re-watched Born of Hope 2 nights ago. This was perfect -- I could see the scene with the young Halbarad holding the toddler Aragorn. Well done.
