I'm thinking Petal went back to her original home in Tookland; what more could she give Sam, after making it possible for him to hear Frodo's voice and learn of his doings? Her work was done, and diminishing to a tiny bubble is the quickest way for her to get back home. That's how I see it anyway:) Thanks so much for commenting Larner! ~~~~~{~@

So glad it works for you! And I doubt Valerian would relish having a frozen face even for a minute or two...although I've a feeling he's the sort of boy who would lick an iron pole in icy weather on a dare...(at least if it were the infamous triple-dog dare;)) ~~~~~{~@
