A worthy evening's entertainment, then. Well done, and I wish I'd been there to hear! Lovely, Linda!

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed this. I would have loved to hear them sing too. I imagine they sound like Thomas Hampson and John Tomlinson.

I recognized that song quoted in the beginning right away. LOL! I've heard it on my local classics station occasionally when on my way to work. A lovely tale, Linda. Aragorn and Faramir are a delight here. And I loved the ending. Won't that family be surprised when they awaken! *snicker*

I found this story delightful when I first read it, and have again enjoyed reading it this second time. I've always imagined Aragorn as a bass-baritone with a beautiful voice, so how could I resist this vignette.

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you have enjoyed rereading this story. It seems we both imagine Aragorn as a bass baritone, which is my favourite male voice.

"Just pretend that you are singing to Éowyn and your children and a row of cabbages" Ok, this last part knocked me off my chair! *lol* This is a beautiful story, Linda. I especially like the end. :)
