That was wonderful! Most of the time all we hear about is Arwen and Elrond's parting. Few people have ever thought it would be hard for Legolas and Thranduil. I applaud you! - Lady Dragon Friend

Very touching vignette of what must have been a difficult moment. While Thranduil knows he will be reunited with many of those he loves soon and with his son eventually, the parting must still be difficult.
