I do wish that Boromir might have married and left his legacy in that way. And she is so aware of the limitations both her own culture imposes and those that would be complicated by marrying into his. I suspect she wishes she lived more openly as is reported of the women of Gondor, and although she finds superficially that what she knows of them to be perhaps bordering on the wanton, still she could do so much more more openly were she indeed wedded to the Brave Captain.
