Hmm...I seem to have been more out of touch than I thought. I don't remember this one either. Sorry I've been so neglectful. It is gratifying to see hobbits smiling and singing even tho' they are marching forth into peril.

Oh Shirebound! this was so sweet! Hope found in the smallest of things, from niphrodel on a hillside to the small and silly songs of common folk. Beautifully done and uplifting to the reader as well.

I find that it's the small, significant moments that make the best stories. "The Man in the Moon" is my favorite of all of Tolkien's rhymes. Very lovely tale about our favorite hobbits and the Ranger!
