Can't wat for update. I love it. Thank you.

Larner · 9 September 2016 · Chapter 7

A proper disposition of Tauriel's body, and love the friendliness shown Bard's children by Thranduil.

Sitaray · 8 September 2016 · Chapter 7

Yay...so glad to see an update...even if it's a short little one!

Larner · 24 April 2015 · Chapter 6

Ah! Caught up! Glad that Legolas can tell the difference between male and female Dwarves. Love the history between him and Dis, and her courtesy toward him. He will survive his grief, at least.

Larner · 24 April 2015 · Chapter 5

I had feared such news, and hope that Dain allowed the internment as requested. At least Legolas has the support he needs to get through this situation, and we know he will accompany Aragorn in the future on the great quest of their time.

I have read your stories many times in the past and still go back to reread them. I wish Nilmandra and DAW were still writing LOTR stories but am very grateful that you have decided to write this story. It would have been nice if you had been working with PJ on his movie and been able to correct his mistakes about Thranduil. Many people don't seem to understand the Woodland King. In particular, I love the way you are showing Legolas' sorrow after the battle and now the grief from the death of Tauriel.

eliza · 23 April 2015 · Chapter 5

Darn it, darn it, darn it. I really did understand Tauriel might fade but..... ***sighs**. i really do enjoy how you have intertwined her memory into the story. nicely done. Poor Legolas.

UTfrog · 23 April 2015 · Chapter 6

Beautifully written. Thanks

Larner · 22 April 2015 · Chapter 4: 4

Death is never easy to accept, and particularly when it is a child that dies. Alas--has Tauriel begun fading or something?

Larner · 22 April 2015 · Chapter 3

Well, I'd say that all who need to know his true identity do. Excellent removal of the arrow.

Larner · 22 April 2015 · Chapter 2

I grieve for Durion, but rejoice that Legolas takes his companion safely away once the first aid is given.

UTfrog · 22 April 2015 · Chapter 5

Thank you for this story I have read your work for years. Your view of Thranduil and Legolas is much more reasonable than the movies.

eliza61 · 15 April 2015 · Chapter 4: 4

Now that is just wrong!! lol, nice chapter. I was just enjoying a nice "quiet" view into life in the settlement and then a cliffee. Post soon, as I've got the patience of a knat.

Sitaray · 15 April 2015 · Chapter 4: 4

oh no!!!! Not a cliffy....please update soon! Great job by the way...I'm enjoying this!

shirebound · 15 April 2015 · Chapter 4: 4

Oh dear, just as I was thinking what a relief it must have been to Legolas to receive the first letter, another one arrives with what must be unsettling news. :( I'm enjoying this story very much.

Actually, Peter Jackson didn't forget Aragorn's age. What he did was delete 17 years from The Lord of the Rings, reducing the time span between Bilbo's own departure from the Shire on his 111th birthday and Frodo and Sam's later departure to 1 year at the most. At the same time, Jackson left Aragorn at the same age that he was at, in the book. That made Aragorn considerably older in The Hobbit movie trilogy than he would have been in the book, had he been mentioned in The Hobbit novel.

Oh, I am so thrilled to see you writing again!!! This is gorgeous so far, and I cannot wait to see what happens next! I hated Thranduil and Legolas' last scene in BOFA too....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FIXING IT!!! Just the hug was a vast improvement. I had to stop at that point and say, aloud, "he got a hug! Yay!" My family thought I was crazy until they heard what I was reading, and then they agreed with me. I also love young Halbarad. He is a new favorite of mine, and I am loving his chance to have more of a story. Don't stop! At the same time, I want to say....any chance you might be adding more to Hidden Agendas any time soon? So curious...Who is behind the plots???

Laikwalâssê · 18 January 2015 · Chapter 1

Hello sheraiah, you are so right the last Scene in BOFA between Legolas and THranduil was horrid. THeir relationship disturbed me from the beginning of the three film but the end in BOFA topped all. I like your Interpretation so much better, much more believable.THank you so much. PJ have to read this. Lai

So, Legolas' incognito is already lifted, but he still does not know who Estel is. But there is time for that later. A poisoned arrow is no fun. I hope he will mend soon.

Marianel · 17 January 2015 · Chapter 3

This is such a good story and Legolas is so humble and sweet. I guess Thranduil can see Aragorns greatness in advance as he sends his son to the Numenoreans. There is more to Thranduil than in the films and books. He and Legolas is some of my favourite elves. There are also many who doesnt like Tauriel as shes not a Tolkien character but I do. She took the first steps of loving a dwarf even if Its not canon either-which indeed Legolas does later and his big tolerance of all races. Many compliments to your story and Its fantastic that Tolkien gives us playground to fill him in! You do it well with descriptions and I can see it in my head when I read. Looking forward to more!

UTfrog · 13 January 2015 · Chapter 3

Great story! I am really enjoying your AU look of what could have been an earlier meeting. Thanks.

Sitaray · 13 January 2015 · Chapter 3

I love it! You have to keep going....I've been itching to read something and you've done it! Please continue with your wonderful tale :)

Dreamflower · 12 January 2015 · Chapter 3

This is marvelous! I love all the interactions between the characters! And the plot is also intriguing. Looking forward to more.

There have been hundreds of new fics based on the movies posted over the last three years, and most of them are dreadful in one way or another. But a select few really have grabbed my favorable attention, and in spite of the fact that hobbits are my favorite characters, nearly all of those few have fastened on the Mirkwood Elves. This one easily fits into the category of *really good!* and I am looking forward to what you will make of it. As for the time element: all the discrepancies in the timeline between book- and movie- verse hinge on the decision PJ made in FotR to eliminate the 17 years between the time Bilbo left after the Party and the time that Frodo left after he learned of the Ring. So his bit about Aragorn in the movie was a nod to that discrepancy.

Thank you for deciding to write this story! I am really enjoying it and look forward to more! I also had a problem with the scene from the movie, but that just means we knew too much ;-) my friends who like the movies but aren't into as much as I didn't mind the way it was written. Idril
