sweetstuff · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 15: Swords and Traitors
*knocks on monitor* hello...anybody home? give us an update, please...this cliffhanger is killer!!!!!!
Bodkin · 11 June 2006 · Chapter 15: Swords and Traitors
Oh dear! Every clue only leads so far. Durmir sounds a thoroughly unpleasant piece of work, so I can well believe he is one step further on the way to the big cheese. And a very ruthless big cheese he is, too. There's a nice feeling of camaraderie among the survivors - and Lithmor's last words are enough to put them on their guard. I hope, anyway. Thranduil and Legolas have suffered enough. Perhaps it would be wise to put Sam in charge of some of the enquiries - he's got a definite point. And those who won't speak in front of their servants will probably be far too careful not to talk - which is suspicious in itself. I think Elladan and Elrohir have picked up some ideas about just who Serai's attacker is. And I don't hold out much hope for his long-term health.

Does not sound good for Gondor! Shees - good chapter, again! Had me sitting on the edge of my chair....
kayla · 10 June 2006 · Chapter 14: Revelations and Capture
Wow! At least this is isn't as bad a cliff hanger as others of them, but still- keep it coming!!!!!!! I hope you update again soon...this story is excellent, and I'm just being sucked right in to everything. Please update soon!

elliska · 27 May 2006 · Chapter 14: Revelations and Capture
So happy to see this updated! This was a great chapter. I loved, as usual, the interaction between Legolas and Thranduil. You do such a great job of showing how close they are. And I liked the interaction between Luinloth and Thranduil. I loved the ending--I'm glad Lithmor was caught before more damage could be done.
Sitaray · 25 May 2006 · Chapter 14: Revelations and Capture
So wonderful to see a new chapter of this! Great job and please write the next chapter so I can see what happens. Waiting :)
Bodkin · 24 May 2006 · Chapter 14: Revelations and Capture
Oh ... you didn't let Eowyn remove small unimportant parts of the nasty man. Still, never mind. At least he's in custody now. And the moronic kitchen maid didn't get murdered. And Serai is looking after Legolas. Sam and Rosie are very useful people to have around - and there's something about them looking small and vulnerable that causes people to act stupidly around them. I was delighted to see an update - I hope there is more coming soon. I look forward to finding out more about Serai and her fate. Not to mention seeing Legolas and Thrandui recover. And Lithmor get his dues.

iteralday · 29 January 2006 · Chapter 8: Mending and Remembrances
From what i understand, you have much knowledge about the "Lord of the Rings"and its Professor, but I have heard countless times that Sindarin and the silvan languages out-lasted the high elven languages of Quenya and old Quenya.sadly, i found out too late and after commiting quite a bit of it to memory, found that that language is dead to the elves except for in ceremonies. So far this is one of my favorite stories I have read on this site, it is very suspensful and keeps me on the edge of my seat. you should consider becoming a professional author if you arn't already.

Sorry about leaving my last review on chapter 12,I meant to leave it on 13. I'm sorry if you thought I was crazy!
Silvertree · 23 December 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery
I don't want to seem pushy or anything, but WHEN IS THE NEXT CHAPTER COMING!?!?!?!
elliska · 29 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Conversations
So glad to see an update. It is good that Legolas is doing better, but Thranduil's situation is sertainly worrisome. And why am I suspicious of the guard interested in Serai. Good thing she has people looking out for her. Hope you update again soon.
Bodkin · 29 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Conversations
I am so pleased to see another chapter of this! It's quite exciting when there has been a long enough gap for the old memory to slip! Legolas seems to be recovering well - at the moment. It would seem as if there is some good to being poisoned if it helps build up a bit of an immunity. Thranduil, on the other hand, I'm a bit worried about. He's not doing so well. Elladan, Elrohir and Elessar are wearing themselves out - but they are doing a good job of looking after each other, and Arwen is keeping an eye on all of them. I love her reproving of Elladan for living in a mess and not looking after his clothes properly! (I've a feeling the laundry and mending will be sorted out soon!) I'm glad (I think) to hear that Serai has someone who wants to look after her - but I don't blame her for not trusting him. A healthy dose of elven inspection and supervision would be a good thing - after all, those bad guys are still out there, and might think that Serai would be an easy victim. More updates soon?
Maid of Ithilien · 28 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Conversations
An update!!! Good name for the chapter -- the conversations were all interesting. So glad that Legolas seems to be coming out of it. More soon, please?
sofia · 28 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Conversations
loved the banter between arwen and her brother. can't wait for more.
Jay of Lasgalen · 28 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Conversations
Hmm. Do I need to be worried about this guard's intentions towards Serai? No doubt Elladan and Elrohir will soon see his true motives, for good or ill. Poor Serai - while she has learned to relax around elves - needs to learn that not all men are evil. I do like your twins in this story - and your Thranduil. All three are so often badly caricatured - the twins as practical-joking idiots; Thranduil as a tyrant - though thankfully not on this site! I hope Thranduil will soon be well. I'm still worried about him. Jay
Silvertree · 21 November 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery
YOU might be evil, but OTHERS can be more evil if they are kept waiting for too long!Muwahahahahaha!!!!! (Poor imitation, I know)
Bodkin · 24 July 2005 · Chapter 12: Poison and Treachery
I like the way Serai is settling into trusting the twins enough to tease them - and accepting the way they tease her. She is such a sweet character (- happy outcome, happy outcome!) The way they blame each other for her cheek is very big brotherly. She seems resigned to the elves knowing her condition - even the Queen. Not a bad thing. At least Thranduil reduced the amount of poison Legolas swallowed - and he was in good health (if emotionally fraught) to start with. But poor Legolas - that nasty creep is hanging on waiting for him to die! You can't let that happen. Aragorn and the twins are doing the best they can, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Very sensible to have the hobbits do the catering. Rose and Sam won't allow any messing with the munchies. And I'm glad Luinloth has come to see that Gimli is an elf-friend through and through. I hope Lithmor never gets to find out how long it takes to kill an elf. And that someone comes between him and the stupid kitchen maid. Preferably the truth.
