My goodness that was just lovely!! So touching. And I'm glad that Sam got to see how much he really contributed. The part about the songs, drawing from the original creation of Arda was a beautiful touch.

This was such a delightful, gentle, loving story to read! You just have a gift for truly explaining the subtleties of emotion and memory - and you especially have the gift of telling about Sam and Frodo. I especially loved the last part when Sam is watching Frodo and comes to his realization about belonging. Thank you so much for this.

What a lovely, joyous story, Hobbsy! I can just see and hear every bit of this. After ROTK (the movie) reduces me to a puddle, I may have to re-read this so I can cheer up.
