Fragments of a love story
Fans have endowed Faramir with lots of imaginary families, and this is mine. There's Elboron of course, and then a daughter called Fíriel - the heroine of this story - and then Túrin, who is an oddball. 'Fragments' because the story isn't really complete - but that's just how it turned out.

Homes for gnomes
We know that Tolkien originally called the Noldor 'the Gnomes'. Mercifully he changed his mind about this, but what if th Gnomes had survived into the Silmarillion in another form?... The opening quotation is from Chapter 3 of the Silmarillion, 'Of the Coming of the Elves'.

Climbing high
An incident from the Húrin brothers' boyhood. Warning: I tried to make this canonical, but Boromir fans may not take to the portrayal of him. If you read it all the same, please come back and argue the toss with me!
