• The Ranger and the Eagles by Cairistiona

The hunt for Gollum has passed its first summer, but will it survive its first winter? A tale for Lily Baggins, who wanted a simple hurt-comfort drabble between Aragorn and Gandalf... but a drabble just wouldn't do! Special thanks to Inzilbeth and Estelcontar for their faithful beta-work (and work it was at times!) 2011 MEFA nomination.

• The Ranger and the Hobbit by Cairistiona

An AU-ish tale that’s less AU than it is “what if”: what if, as the Dúnedain patrol the region around the Shire, Aragorn has an encounter with an intrepid, resourceful hobbit, one with the same mettle as Bilbo and a similar yen for adventure? And what if Aragorn also has an encounter with some men with less friendly intentions? Tookishness and Rangerliness both abound in this tale of a quiet patrol turned disastrous. 2010 MEFA nominee.

• Stirrings of Shadow by Fiondil

A sequel to Tâd Edhel a Firion in which Aragorn, as Thorongil, journeys to the court of Edoras to take service with Thengel King. PLEASE NOTE: this story is not written in the same vein as the earlier story. It is much more serious, although there is still humor. Thanks to Alassiel, as always, for the beta-read. MEFA 2007: 1st Place: Adventure (Incomplete).

• At Hope's Edge by Cairistiona

It is October, T.A. 3000, and the Dúnedain continue to dwindle, a scattered remnant held together by hope in their Chieftain. But what happens when the Chieftain’s own hope starts to falter? An exploration of tragedy, grief, injury and illness and its effects on "the most hardy of living Men". Complete. 1st Place winner, 2009 MEFA. Rated for violence, angst, and OC character death. Except for a handful of OC’s, the characters belong to Prof. Tolkien.

• With Hope and Without Hope by docmon

FIRST PLACE in 2008 MEFA Awards! One decision made differently--the Three Hunters run through that second night of their chase after the Orcs rather than rest--and everything changes. Well, not everything. They're merely captured like Merry and Pippin. One decision changed doesn't change one's destiny, however. Reaching the fate destiny has in store for them is a bit peskier, though. There's action, adventure, suspense, a bit of angst, and hopefully an enjoyable story for all. Feedback welcome. Thanks as ever to the tireless beta, Thundera Tiger!
