Look, I'm know I'm being picky here, but your Elvish grammar is all wrong. It's mellon nín not nín mellon. etc... Also tithen pen not vice versa. 'Kay?
Please fix these grammatical errors.
Thanks,

You did not fail to make me laugh in this one Jasta! In this one you made legolas so cute and innocent (looking), a side rarely explored in fanfiction except in young legolas fics. the descriptions were WONDERFUL, especially the clothing ones. I love clothes, not normal everyday casual clothes, but FANCY clothes. I don't get what most young woman today have with dresses and skirts, they actually give you more freedom than the "fashionable" jeans that are so tight you feel like your going to pass out. But that is extremely off topic. I also liked how you gave the various "side" characters, well, character! especially Erestor's, I don't think I've read anything where he has a good part ( I know there are several erestor/glorfindel fics, but I do not read slash). The humor was original, and a "return of the Scruff" would be most appreciated!
Nedieth, who finally got out the promised review.

umm, this is mostly based on the movie. I am more of a book fan fic person. For all we know, when it was safe, he may have bathed in a stream, and another thing, it is my belief that those of high numenorean blood did not have to shave because of the elvish blood mixed in. Making them unable to grow beards. Besides Tolkien never mentioned Estel having a beard, stubble, whatever you wanna call it. That is all. I guess the story is kinda funny for a movie based fan fic. (no disrespect or meanfullness meant)

By the Valar, you are likely to get me fired! I was reading this latest chapter while taking a quick break at work, and am going to have nasty bite marks on my tongue from trying so hard not to laugh! This was indeed a most wonderful, cheeky, devious ending to a fantastic tale. I simply cannot wait for the sequel! Please don't delay it's posting too long, I beg you.
heheheheheeee, the rest of my day is looking decidedly more cheerful.
All the best,

Good story, only your phrase "Mae govannen, nîn mellon" means nothing in the elven language. And your when Aragorn said "...I could eat a orc" thats a bad use of words. Elves sadly *sigh* are related to orcs, but NOT uriks. They don't want to be. Other than that, Great Story!

Oh excellent! I've been out of town and returned to find this. I love the way you mix contemporary snippy language with the most regal of elven portrayals. And I want to hear the story of Elrond telling Thranduil to "stop that right now."
I like the way you've set up the Gimli & Legolas interaction too.
This was well worth waiting for, Jasta.

Jasta, it was great to read this at long last! The poor twins - Legolas has run rings around them both, yet they keep coming back for more. I rather like the thought of a Sindar filling in a Noldor sandwich - I've read some interesting slash fics on that theme!;)

Poor twins - they don't stand a chance against the doe-eyed Moriquendi. A brilliant finale to a hilarious story. I'm not sure who it is that I sympathise with most - (twins, I think. They keep coming back for more without any realisation that they are outclassed.)
The idea of having them all gang up on Aragorn to see that he is in a fit state for the coronation and the wedding of the age is extremely appealing - and judging from the impression that movie Aragorn had actually managed to brush his hair for the first time before meeting his bride, they might actually have succeeded.
I look forward to seeing how they manage it!

Hhahahahhahahhahahhaha!!!!! I''ve been laughing for most of this chapter and the people in the library are giving me funny looks. Oh well. Great piece I'm gonna read it again, because I could really go for a nolder sandwich with some extra silvan filling! I can't wait for return of the scruff, and I am just bouncing off the walls until it comes out! Your faithful reader that is shamelessly in love with this story, Galimeril ;D

Well, I must say that for as much as liked the fine form our princely princeling was in, I am dismayed by how long it is taking a certain elder twin to calm himself. I supposed we really must work on that temper- his human heritage (for that must be it) comes out at the strangest times. I laughed at so many lines that I'd just recopy the story to quote them here.
A very fine end to a wonderful story, and we can hope that they did indeed have a little fun desite the heaviness of the time. I do look forward to seeing part II at the Coronation!

Oh my god this is sick and twisted! I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time. I can't believe that I have never seen this fic before. There is too much to comment on so I will only say that, though I think there is more to this than I likely completely got (some of this has to be inside jokes too), it was brilliantly witty. Every line had me laughing. Great work!

Oh *my*!! That was brillant!! I've got tears in my eyes thanks to poor Elladan's rant and I could see the entire thing so clearly. Too bad he didn't have the wisdome Elrohir had. To beat a retreat from their Adar when he had that chance...LOL!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful laugh. Oh and giggling in bathing chambers is a normal thing. Need to remember that one...*snicker* ;o)
Thanks again!!

Ai! A story after my own heart. We have a Plan! *memo to self: eat not grapes whilst reading this tale as one may verily choke!* I am loving this, especially such things as "with more pong to his person than a wet wolfhound in high summer humidity". What an olfactory image (if such be possible?) that conjures. Dearly as I love my wood-elf, I know his dark thoughts and you have captured them. Keep writing! I end with the fond regards of all the "lemon-sucking" elves of Mirkwood and most especially my liege lord.

realizing he was wet, naked, and at the mercy of an Elven lunatic, he opted to save his life by being obedient.
Oh my. And if the elven lunatic was indeed Legolas, I wouldn't mind trading places with Aragorn for a bit. *pauses, lost in luscious daydreaming*
Ahem.
Sorry about that digression, but if you're going to write fantasy-inducing lines like that, Jasta, you'll just have to give a girl time to get over herself before she can properly review your chapter.
Loved the Twins and the dwarves. Nothing like ultimate Twin embarassment to liven up a dreary afternoon.
Can I have a barrette like Legolas'? I liked the image of the squirrel with the little bow in its forepaws.
You know, you were right about Elrond's voice of command working so long as the imitation sounded remotely like the original. Elladan's command managed to banish *my* thoughts about Legolas making love to the trees, as well. Although not forever, I must admit. *blushes*
Boring, however, has long since gone on holiday and left the region. I like that line, can I borrow it someday? I loved Elrond's description of Legolas as Ennor's most adorable hooligan since Maglor; Elrond certainly has Legolas' number, doesn't he? :-)
I am having way too much fun reading this story, Jasta. This amount of fun has to be illegal somewhere. Just don't tell me where!

· Chapter 3: Part the Third: The Plan Goes South
*Ponders*
Ah, me. Where shall I begin in singing in the praises of what is quite probably my single most favorite chapter in all of LOTR fanfiction, Chapter: Part the Third: The Plan Goes South? Let's start with ... um ...
... Elrond's descriptions of two of the banquet attendees: Legolas, the brightest summer day had come to rest with all its loveliness upon his person, and Glorfindel, a law unto himself. Never have I read two more succinct and devastatingly accurate descriptions.
... Or how about we start with the descriptions of the Twins' and Legolas' outfits? So lovingly detailed that I would swear you wrote them for the premiere issue of Vanity Fair.
... But maybe, I should start with the absolutely fantastic arch writing / dialogue that you filled the banquet scene with? Noel Coward would be impressed.
... Perhaps it should be the humor as a slightly obtuse Aragorn tries to keep up with the machinations of his elven friend and brothers.
I know!" Elladan said, raising one finger pedantically. "We shall discuss wardrobe."
"Having new furniture made?" Aragorn asked innocently. Legolas almost choked on his miruvor.
*sigh*
Oh, good grief. I can't even figure out where to start this review. There's too much to mention. I'd probably just end up quoting the whole blessed chapter and waste Jasta's time. After all, she wrote it. She knows what the chapter says and how wonderful it is. I shouldn't bother her.

Oh man. I can't possibly read Chapter 2 without a smirk on my face. Reading this is just too much fun. It's got to be illegal somewhere. Mae-what-you-call-your-Govannen I loved that! And the description of Legolas' bouquet redolent of a bright spring day in the forest, with notes of citrus and honeysuckle! Oh my, oh my. *fans self*
And another great line: Persuasion of that level of force is not legal in Imladris. I just might have to steal that one in addition to the one from Chapter 1. Ah, forget it! I just might as well steal all the lines from this story!!
