Now I rather regret having brought this up - you're right, of course, nowhere is stated explicitly that Frodo took the Phial with him. But when Frodo sails, this is the last that is seen before the ship disappears: the light of the glass of Galadriel - a beautiful image that stayed with me. (Sorry, can't cite it properly - don't have my well-worn copy with me.) But Sam must have mistaken the glimmer of the Lady's own golden head for the light of her glass - how could he have seen properly through his tears and over that distance, anyway, LOL! I only wish you could make a certain elf stay forever, too - *big, deep, never-ending heart-rending sigh*

Author's reply

Rats, rats, rats! After reading what you wrote, I flew to my dog-eared copy - and lo and behold, you are right - that image you mentioned is right there! How I missed that I don't know but I am so mad at myself because I do prefer to stick to book-verse as far as possible.*mutter mutter*. Now *sigh* I'm glad I put up that AU warning, and I guess I will have to live with it (and make the disclaimer even more explicit) because it's too late to change it all, though I must say I was tempted for a fleeting moment to scrap everything, grrrr. Double sigh... Thanks for pointing it out to me, RS, even if it makes me want to kick myself for having missed it, but my leg can't reach my butt. >:-(

eliza61 · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

Mae Govannen Legolass, I really have to get some thing beside "awesome writing" to say to you, you must be getting terrible bored with that. Very glad Aragorn realizes what a blessing he has in Legolas, your description on his insight was absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed this chapter immensely. Did I thank you for letting Hamille stick around? I think he provides Legolas some foundation amongst a sea of mortals. Lastly, since my first borns (twins)are now full fledge evil teenagers and I dearly want you to remain my favorite author, I'll find some poor unsuspecting orc to pawn them off on. (LOL) Travel safely, Eliza

Author's reply

Thank you, Eliza. I would NEVER be bored with sincere remarks from sincere readers, whatever they may be. :-) I am glad you share Aragorn's (and my) enchantment with what I imagine would have been a spellbinding vision of beauty when a light as magnificent as that of the Phial falls upon the countenance of an elf such as Legolas. Sigh... Your poor kids! Why don't you keep them around and offer me some well-cooked lembas or something, lol! Till next chapter -- lovely to hear from you.

nessa · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

That was amazing, Legolass. Such a vision for Aragorn to see. Does he really know how lucky he is? He's a much stronger person than I to be able to stand on his own two feet after that. Now that Legolas knows the lady's message I'm sure his own affliction is barely a memory. Can't wait for more.

Author's reply

Thanks very much, Nessa. I'm sure Aragorn appreciates what he has just a little more each day - and still there will be more to learn anew. I bet you're right about this: "Now that Legolas knows the lady's message I'm sure his own affliction is barely a memory." :-) The only thing he can think about now is what might befall Aragorn. See you next chapter, I hope. :-)

RedSquirrel · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

The Phial! Ha, so this actually is AU - if only ever so slightly. (Grinning happily) It would have been such a pity, after all, if Frodo had really taken it with him - especially if Legolas is the one who will use it. I do so love the conversation between the three, the way that Sam's speech differs from Aragorn's differs from Legolas' is just perfect - that's what makes the characters so real to me. gasp - what a vision! Speech is a forgotten skill indeed. How you manage to do that, to write down what cannot be described by words, is beyond me. It is like trying to catch starlight in a glass phial - impossible, and yet... :-) Poor Sam. No, he would not - could not know, how important her exact words were. To keep hope alive, oh brilliant - just brilliant! You know, I believe the glass phial did just what Sam thought it was meant to do: the sea-longing is all but forgotten in the face of Aragorn's danger, the cry of the gulls unheeded. Ah, but how you manage to stir the yearning in the rest of us! I'm hopelessly lost to my tasks for the rest of the day...

Author's reply

Hi, my favourtie rodent! Well, since I don't recall Frodo taking the Phial with him (though I may be wrong) - it may not really be AU, but I did put up the warning just in case. :-) That applies to other events to come as well: things that didn't happen in the books but which I have cooked up for this tale, without contradicting what Tolkien wrote. But the warning acts as a disclaimer, so readers know I mean no disrespect in case I overlook something. Re the vision of Legolas and the Phial: thank you for your kind appreciation. I imagine it would be totally spellbinding if we could witness that scene: a light as magnificent as that of the Phial falling upon the countenance of an elf as beautiful as Legolas... "You know, I believe the glass phial did just what Sam thought it was meant to do: the sea-longing is all but forgotten in the face of Aragorn's danger, the cry of the gulls unheeded." That's a great observation! Thank you for dropping in. Hope you're able to work again now - collecting acorns, building nests, or whatever it is cute, bushy-tailed rodents do. :-)

Linda Hoyland · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

That was most unexpected ! Poor Sam faced with such intense questioning !This story has me on the edge of my chair !

Author's reply

Oh, good! Wish I could write faster to keep the momentum going. But I'll try my best. (and yes I had fun writing that scene with Sam.) :-) Thanks so much for your response. :-)

harrowcat · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

Oh poor practical, down to earth Sam. It is very hard to be the bearer of such tidings. I am glad he got the message across properly in the end even though the implications seem dire!

Author's reply

Yes, Sam got a double whammy there - first he has to hand the precious Phial over to someone else, and then he is told that the message he bears is more dire than he thought. It cannot be easy for him, as you say. Thanks for dropping in, Harrowcat. :-)

Tinnuial · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

That was awesome... I could even hear the pin-drop silence at the end! I also loved your description of Legolas with the glow of the phial upon his fair features. It put this dreamy smile on my face and could probably qualify for a "fangirl moment" award. (hee hee hee...) Thanks for the new chapter... ;) Tinnuial...back to waiting (patiently...)

Author's reply

Oooh - imagine if there were such an award to motivate the writing of lovely elf-worhsip scenes - lol! Seriously, that vision just painted itself in my mind and would not leave it till I had written about it. Sigh... Thanks for your kind words, Tinnuial - I enjoyed writing that chapter. :-)

ArcherGal2932 · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

Oh my goodness... "But here, where but a single ray of the Light of Eärendil had been captured by one of the most powerful Eldar of all the Ages, even that single drop of starlight dispelled the gloom with its unrivalled radiance. And when the Phial – held delicately between the slender fingers of a Firstborn – cast its clear gleam on a wondrously fair face framed by a halo of gold, Aragorn felt he was watching, all at once, the magnificent rising of Anor, and the soft glow of Ithil, and the subtle glitter of all the stars in the night sky. Their beams were silken threads of pure light, woven into a fabric of soft brilliance. Here, before his eyes, was a vision of splendor revealed to him alone – a vision he was sure he would witness but few times in his life..." ^oh now that was truly beautiful. Now teach me; how do you do that??!! How do you learn to put to paper what cannot be described in words???? It truly is fantastic; keep going or...or...um....I'll...do....something! Yea! I'll do something! Ooooo! You should be scared! lol no I'm kidding. Just kidding. KIDDING! (nervous chuckle) lol Thanks for posting! -ArcherGal2932

Author's reply

*blush* Thank you, ArcherGal. :-) As I told another reviewer: that vision would not leave me alone till I had written about it. I only hope I did some justice to what I imagine would have been a breathtaking moment - such a Light on such a face... *sigh* I can't really tell you how I write such scenes - but I basically try to identify one central theme and build around it. It was light and radiance for this particular vision, and I imagined the most splendid 'light' scenes I could think of - and I described those. And I thought that the Phial PLUS a gorgeous elf should give off both a brilliant shine as well as a lovely warm, subtle glow ... so... that would be the sun, the moon, and the twinkling of stars (my own favourite). Hope that helps? Thanks so much for dropping in - hope to see you again soon. :-)

Silivren Tinu · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

I LOVE updates! *kisses screen* I can't wait to know what Sam has in his pack... *starts reading* Sam is so sweet, he must miss Frodo terribly sometimes... *huggles hobbit* The Light of Eärendil... I always loved this phial, it is wonderful that it is given to Legolas now. Though this seems to mean that there is a lot of darkness to come... *looks at title of story* Hm, definitely. What are you going to do to that poor elf that he needs so much light to keep him going? *raises eyebrow* Poor Sam! *fond chuckle* It must be very difficult to keep being a practical, right-minded hobbit when Galadriel talks to you in your dreams... "cast its clear gleam on a wondrously fair face framed by a halo of gold, Aragorn felt he was watching, all at once, the magnificent rising of Anor, and the soft glow of Ithil, and the subtle glitter of all the stars in the night sky." - This is sooo beautiful... *sighs and melts* "how glad he was that he would not live to see the day when all the beauty of the Fair Folk, and all the magical charm that exuded from their very presence, would be forever gone from Middle-earth" - *sniff* What am I doing here? I do not need a gull - your stories are quite enough to wake the sea-longing in everyone. *sniffs and gropes for tissues* "robbed of breath" indeed - oh blissfully ignorant, loveable elf! *smiles* Methinks they should really listen to their suspicions... "So I won't lose..." - wait a moment: hope? Estel? Does Legolas think she talked about losing Aragorn? *shudders* AHA. She did talk about Aragorn... *shiver* Poor elf, this must be worse for him then being endangered himself - I wouldn't be surprised if Aragorn was actually relieved now. *shakes head* Perhaps I should ask now what you are going to do to that poor ex-ranger?! *pointed look* This chapter was wonderful (once again). I already suffer from update-longing again. ;-) Looking forward to the next chapter, an enchanted Wet Puddle *sigh*

Author's reply

Hey WP: I'm back! Sleepy - but back. Determined to reply to some reviewers before I go to bed. "Poor elf, this must be worse for him then being endangered himself - I wouldn't be surprised if Aragorn was actually relieved now." You are right on BOTH counts - that's how much those two friends care about each other, at least in my stories. *Sigh* But as for what will happen to the poor Ranger - I guess we gotta wait and see - you and me both, to see what my mind cooks up! lol. Glad you liked that bit of elf worship too - the Phial and the gorgeous elf - what a killer vision. *louder sigh* Thanks for your wonderful presence here as usual, Tinu. Hope to talk to you again soon. :-)

TithenFeredir · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

Ooooo, I knew when the phial appeared it would be needed for something dire! What a tease, having Sam not able to remember at first! By the way, your Same is great. And now we have to wait to find out the exact nature of the danger ahead. Very good chapter! ~TF

Author's reply

Thank you, TF. Glad you liked Sam as much as I enjoyed writing him. :-)

Ophium · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 7: The Lady's Gift

Aha! I knew it! Just kidding... Couldn't have guessed, but very, very well thought. It was, after all, only logical that in a story with shadow in the tittle, light would be so important, particulary the light of the elves. Great suspense build up, with the actual words having to be drilled out of Sam, *g* poor hobbit, until we could understand Galadriel's real meaning. Good job!

Author's reply

Thank you, Ophium. I think a couple of readers did guess it, but of course I had to keep quiet till this chapter. The "poor hobbit" could never guess the important role he has played in delivering it. Lovely to have you as the first reviewer for this chapter! :-)

ophium · 31 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

My, my! I've taken too long to discover this story... you've done beautifully again, not only in the fluent way in which you tell your tale but also in the way you 'trap' us around your finger, drooling to find out what happens next. I swear to you, as I saw the chapter's end coming closer and closer and Sam, so true to character, word-drifting instead of telling me, Aragorn and Legolas what we wanted to know, grrrr... I wanted to slap him silly! But I'll behave and will patiently await for your next chapter to discover which sort of rabit Sam's pulling out of his 'hat'... Great job, keep on pumping!

Author's reply

Hi Ophium, wonderful to hear from you again. :-) Glad you can join us. You're not the only one who wanted to grab hold of Sam and shake it out of him, but unfortunately, in this story, he'll only listen to me, and spill the beans only when I ask him to, lol! Don't worry - it'll be out next chapter. Hope to see you then - and thanks so much for your kind words.

ArcherGal2932 · 29 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

hey legolass! Sorry I haven't been reviewing...:( But I have been reading! Sometimes I only have time to check my email, read your new posting, and then I'm off to something else that demands my attention. So sorry. This cannot be the end of this story yet, though....right? lol Keep writing, I'm checking my email often for updates! -ArcherGal2932 P.S. thanks so much for dropping reviews in on me; I'm really happy with how my story's going! By the way, do you think I should re-send it to SoA? Its been over 3 months now (surprising, I know), and hopefully its far enough along that everyone knows I won't abandon it or horribly mess it up. (Which I hope not to, by the way!) anyways, thanks again.

Author's reply

No worries, ArcherGal. :-) I know we're all busy - but it's nice to hear from you again. Thank you for dropping in. No, Chapter 6 isn't the end of the story yet - come join me when you can. As for re-sending to SoA - refresh my memory: why was it they rejected you before? I remember we were arguing that even if it is AU, there are other stories out there that are AU (like 'The Island'). Or - was it because Legolas was (in their opinion) out of character - 'possessed' by Sauron? If that is the case - I have a sneaky suspicion they may not accept it even now. So - wait on it a while till we are clear about the criteria they said you did not meet. Maybe you could forward the message to me again (via emil)?

Tinnuial · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

*sigh* And now I have to wait for the next chapter like everyone else...I tried...I really tried to read it as slowly as possible!!! But that didn't work...*sigh* Arrrr!!!!! You're too good at this!!! (and I love it!!!) I shall await (patiently) the next chapter like a good little elf....and dance a jig on the tables like a good little hobbit when it comes... :)

Author's reply

Yes, my dear - you'll now have to wait, I'm afraid - but you love the suspense, don't you? ;-) You read it slowly... hoping to.... what? lol!! That was funny! What WERE you trying to do with a slow reading? Hee hee. Speaking of jigs, I created a little jig for Silivren Tinu (formerly Smiling Dragon Girl) to congratulate her on winning 3rd prize in the September/October Teitho contest on Happiness/Unhappiness - you can ask her about it, and compare it with YOURS, lol. BTW - I entered a story, too, for the very first (and so far, only) time. It's posted here and at fanfic.net, titled "The Joy of One". Hope you like it. :-)

Tinnuial · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 4: Stirrings

I'm finally back! and I have to say it's taken *much* self control to wait to read this story and I also must add that it's been totally worth the wait too.....oooo...getting all excited about the next chapter....and for once I don't have to wait for the update!!!! hee hee hee!!! ;) I just love the subtleties of the friendships you have created between various characters. You do this so well and it gets better with each story you post, like adding brushstrokes to a painting...oh and Thranduil's little jibe about the chestnuts was priceless!! Thank you for this lovely homecoming present!

Author's reply

Well hi there Tinnuial! Did you know I was JUST thinking about you last night, after I'd posted my latest chapter (so you see you were just in time.) Did you enjoy yourself - wherever you were? Or was it work-related? Thanks for your compliment - I do hope that writing about these characters helps us understand them more. "...like adding burshtrokes to a painting" - wondeful analogy, my friend. :-) Welcome back, and hope to see you around!

Alison H · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

That was such a beautiful chapter. This may sound mean, but I love the angst that surrounds our favourite elf when he experiences the sea-longing! That Hanille now understands his prince's condition only strengthens their bond and I can't imagine Hanille ever leaving Legolas' side--just as Legolas would not leave Aragorn.*sigh*I love friendship tales and your our the best. I thought your Sam was completely adorable and quite in character. His stumbling over words was how I imagined he would speak about 'the Lady'.After all, he is only a humble Hobbit still and his nervousness around Legolas was quite endearing. Now, to the evil cliffy!! I'm thinking that Sam may have something from his garden but I'm not sure.I'm on holiday from Monday, but I don't suppose you'd update before then so I'll have the next chapter to read when I return.I love this story! Ali.

TithenFeredir · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

I really enjoyed this chapter, from the verses at the beginning through the revelation of how the sea-longing affects Hamille as well as Sam's mysterious appearance. I really liked the warmth of Legolas' and Hamille's relationship and how it did not take away from the friendship of Legolas and Aragorn. I guess Legolas will be Hamille's anchor. Can't wait to find out what it is the Lady wants Sam to give Legolas. ~TF

Author's reply

Thanks, TF, for recognising the two different friendships - both are important, but each has a history and growth of its own. And you won't be the only one waiting to find out what Sam has for the elf prince. :-)

RedSquirrel · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

AaaaHhhhgh! I can't believe you have stopped here! (Re-reading the last sentence) Oh no - what is it?! What?? A rack, surely, to tie insatiably curious readers down on. That conversation was so beautiful, so intense - I believe Legolas will be for Hamille what Aragorn is for himself, an anchor. This friendship is no less important, I think. He will stay to watch over his prince, after all. “It may not grow less, Hamille, but we… we can grow stronger.” ok, ok, I'm going to learn something from that. I will sit here, all quiet-like, and only nibble through the keyboard until your next update. Make it SOON, please?!

Author's reply

A 'quiet-like' rodent nibbling through the keyboard -- that sounds about right, lol! I will try not to let too many of your keys be chewed up before the next update. :-) Isn't it lovely how each of them is an anchor for someone else? That's what all friendships should be - if we're lucky enough. *sigh* Thanks very much for reviewing. Always good to hear from you.

eliza · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

Aahhhhh!! You're trying to kill me, I didn't review the last chapter and this evil cliff hanger is my punishment. Ok, I've calmed down, medication has kicked in. Poor Hamille, I hope he doesn't leave. I really enjoyed how tenderly you wrote the scene between him & Legolas. Really, really well done. I also like they way the fellowships' friendship & love has stayed intact even after Aragorn became king. Sam still calls him Strider, not "your highness". I've got to stop reading these updates at work, people think I've got some kind of "imbalance" because I keep falling out of my chair at the end of the chapters (LOL) Update soon ( I am so way pass begging, offering up first born child) Eliza

Author's reply

Oh, dear 'unbalanced" Eliza - were you also the one who offered your first-born for updates in "For the Love..."? (Hmmm, no, I think that was someone else...) Okay - I shall have a collection of first-borns then, lol! No, I can't imagine the hobbits calling Aragorn anything other than Strider or Aragorn - remember how they greeted him even after he had been crowned? :-) As for Hamille - we'll have to wati and see... ;-) Thanks for checking in. NOw stay seated, lol.

Silivren Tinu · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

UPDATE!!! *beams and dances certain jig* It's so funny, I always get your updates during lunch break. Yummy! ;-) *sniff* Wow, what a powerful description of the sea-longing. This is so sad... and beautiful at the same time... and painful. How strong Legolas must be, to deny such a strong call from a world without pain and sorrow. *sniffle, sigh* "Leave the weariness of Arda, and turn your fair face West." *deep sigh* If you write on like this you will soon lose all your readers to Valinor. *listens to gull's cry and sinks into daydream* *sigh* I really hope Hamille won't sail. It will make everything worse for Legolas, and apart from that, I like Hamille. Legolas might see him again in Valinor, but I won't! *wails* Mmmh, this scene is so sweet... Poor Legolas. *huggles elf* Well, Aragorn and Legolas are much more patient than I am - I think I would have grabbed Sam and shaken him. *g* *stalk eyes* Wait a moment - you can't stop there! I want to know what Sam has in his pack!!! *pouts* One of these days my curiosity will kill me... *groans and settles down to wait for update* I LOVED that chapter, though the ending could be improved... *glares daggers* Your purring Wet Puddle (who can't decide if she suffers from update-longing or from sea-longing atm...) :D

Author's reply

Lose my readers to Valinor, you say, Wet Puddle? I think I would sail first :-) - and I would, in a heartbeat, if that Road were open to me. Sigh... As for Hamille, we'll have to wait and see... I will miss him, too, so maybe he won't leave just yet. After all, who would want to leave a wonderful prince like Legolas? :-) Hmmmm.. how to improve on endings like that one? *Tapping forehead* well - guess I won't! I think - instead of tissues for this story, you'll need bloom pressure meds, lol! BTW - do you work or study? Do you have time to read chapters during lunch? ;-) Finally: do read the replies I left for the last two reviewers of this chapter, won't you? Then think about your 'purring' (and specifically, WHICH animal purrs) - and tell me if this isn't all a little weird.... *delicious shiver down spine*

Robinscat · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

Hi, I haven't reveiwed this story yet, but wanted to tell you it is everybit as good as Whitetree. You write with feeling, while not overly descriptive. I can see and hear and feel the story as it unfolds. Ugh! if Sam was not so tongue tied we would know what the Lady's message was! LOL. But you wrote Sam just right. He would have stumbled and stuttered and muddled his way through what he was trying to say. Great chapter. Thank you for your gift. Robin

Author's reply

Hi, Robinscat :-) This has GOT to be some kind of sign - the first two reviewers for this chapter are you and Harrowcat, and like I said in my reply to her (?): I dreamt of a gold-orange CAT last night - and it was out to bite my leg for some strange reason. Now I wonder which one of you it was - and whether either of you were out to give me a 'biting' review, lol! Well, your review was certainly not biting - you are very kind. Thank you for following this humble tale as well, and for appreciating them. And Sam - poor hobbit - I wonder if I made him "stumble and stutter and muddle his way" too much, but I imagine it would have been hard for him to talk about his dream without feeling a little nervous about whether they would take him seriously. :-) Hope to 'see' more of you. Thanks for dropping in.

harrowcat · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 6: The Lady's Message

Oh I just love the descriptive poetry at the beginning of this chapter. And your image of an uncomfortable Sam is great.

Author's reply

Well this was a quick response. :-) I was just about to log out. Thank you on both counts, Harrowcat. I enjoyed writing the verse (though I swear I felt its intensity as if I were Legolas) and Sam (more to come in the next chapter). BTW - I dreamt of a gold-orange cat last night - and it was out to bite my leg for some strange reason. Was that you - threatening me to update? lol!

Red Squirrel · 22 October 2005 · Chapter 5: The Call

Now I simply have to pop in and tell you that I absolutely love this story. I don't like to read on the run - your story deserves a lot better, but yes, for the past weeks I found myself actually working :-o and trying to catch up a few deadlines. You have created so many images I want to return to and dwell on - one of my favorites being the four elves in the tree. I'm so happy you have included the twins in this adventure. So it is only those of the companions who walked before on the Paths of the Dead who can sense them - I wonder when will they realize that? I remember I loved the goosebumps and the growing tension and the sense of dread on the Paths of the Dead, but in the end I found Tolkien's army of the dead almost disappointingly obedient. I have a feeling your ghosts will turn out to be more of a menace. Poor Legolas - will he be able to help Aragorn? And I wonder what Sam's got in store for Legolas! I'm so looking forward to it!

Author's reply

Well hi there, my favourite rodent! I have missed you, and it's lovely to know you're 'back' and able to join us again. :-) It's really fascinating how some readers have 'read into' certain elements very quickly, and some have not - but I love them both. I won't say more about this till, oh, maybe two chapters from now. Glad you liked the images, and thank you for savoring them. It makes the attention to detail so worthwhile. Take care, and hope to 'see' you again soon.

nessa · 21 October 2005 · Chapter 5: The Call

I love how Aragorn always seems to overhear important conversations of Legolas'. Alright, its only been twice, but I love it anyway. This was good for him to hear. I can't wait to see who 'they' are going to take. I'm sure it will be bad. Thank you for another beautiful chapter. Can't wait for the next one.

Author's reply

"I love how Aragorn always seems to overhear important conversations of Legolas'.' Me too! lol. Call it a writer's gimmick. :-) Thank you for dropping in,

Alison H · 20 October 2005 · Chapter 5: The Call

This was such a beautifully written chapter. The voices are certainly menacing and I have a few ideas as to who they are---and one way for the spirits to get Aragorn's attention would be to take someone whom he loves.Mmmm--Arwen perhaps? I loved the idea of Poppa Gimli! That was such a sweet interlude with Eldarion and his terror at all the lessons he was going to have.Poor baby, but he has many years to be a child just yet. Legolas' words to Hanille about why he does not heed the call to the sea were truly breathtaking and even I felt like purring when I read them! Aragorn is Legolas' anchor as much as Legolas is Aragorn's and I just love that whole concept.Their relationship and the words you have them say make me smile! Looking forward to the next chapter.Update soon! Ali.

Author's reply

Lots of readers are getting ideas about the voices... and I guess each chapter leads you a little closer. :-) Thasnks so much for the review, Ali. I'm beginning to like the idea of readers purring, lol.
