Queen Galadriel · 4 November 2005 · Chapter 25: The Forbidden Pool

Oh no! I knew it was too good to be true! Concerning Gollum, I mean. But really, Antane, he can't turn from Smegol to Gollum again! He *must* be saved! To lose him again would break Frodo's heart, and with everything else...he's already so fragile. I'm very anxious to see where this goes. Keep it up! Namarie, and God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 4 November 2005 · Chapter 25: The Forbidden Pool

I am feeling for Smeagol Antane. Hunger is a powerful incentive but Sam is so right not to trust him still.

Queen Galadriel · 3 November 2005 · Chapter 24: The Steward's Son

Wow! Now that's really different! Are Faramir and his men going to lead Frodo and Sam all the way to Mordor? I like how Gol...ahem, Smegol is turning out, though, like Sam, I'm still afraid to trust him too far. What if it's all an act? I hope it isn't though! You once again, for the hundredth time, have me on the edge of my seat with excitement! Keep it coming! Namarie and God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 3 November 2005 · Chapter 24: The Steward's Son

Faramir's offer is a lovely and intriguing twist. Now where is Sam's Oliphaunt?

Starfire_Moonlight · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 23: Of Herbs, Stewed Rabbits and Taters

*gasp* What is going on now? First they were happily and finally feeling a bit better, now they've got arrows in their faces! Oh well, I'm sure the great Mistress Antane has something planned up ;)

Frodo Baggins · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 18: The Lady's Light

Antane, Poor Frodo!! The poor, poor dear! I can't imagine what it would be like to think that you killed those you love most.....shudder. That won't happen, though? Please don't make it happen! I am enjoying this story immensley, and can't wait to contiue the journey! Namarie, mellon nin! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

harrowcat · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 23: Of Herbs, Stewed Rabbits and Taters

Oh Yay! now we get to see Faramir second time around. Now my burning question is - do you prefer book or movie-verse Faramir?

Queen Galadriel · 2 November 2005 · Chapter 23: Of Herbs, Stewed Rabbits and Taters

No! That should be against the rules or something! :-) You cannot leave us hanging like that! Well, I guess you can, since you have, but please update soon! Will Faramir be nice this time? God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

My dear, you should know by now, how much I love leaving you all hanging! :)

Starfire_Moonlight · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 22: Following the Light

*sigh* Love the ending of the chapter. Its just so...yet again I don't have a word for it. Poor Frodo. That evil, wicked Ring is weighing down on him much more than last time. He doesn't deserve to be put through this again, not from what happened last time. Just a question, are they going to meet Faramir again?

Queen Galadriel · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 22: Following the Light

Yes, Sam is indeed Frodo's light! But again, how can Frodo withstand this darkness a second time? If he is so weary already, how will he manage to go across the weary miles of Mordor?...Unless he is carried upon Sam's shoulders, which will not surprise me. :-) Namarie, and God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 22: Following the Light

Good stories deserve keen reviewers. I don't normally enjoy or follow AU stories but yours has me intrigued and I am enjoying the twists you put into the original plot. That you are managing to stick so close and yet make it different enough to be both believable and enjoyable is constantly amazing me. Great stuff Antane!

Author's reply

*bows* Thank you, harrowcat! I keep forgetting to thank you for a previous review in another story that you said my writing was lyrical. That was very nice of you to say so and I greatly appreciate all your kind words here. It's fun developing the story as another journey might have been like and I'm glad you are enjoying it. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Frodo Baggins · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 13: Forgiveness

My dear Antane, WIll nothing be different in the second time around? I mean better different. I do hope so for Frodo and everyone's sake!! Frodo's response to Boromir was very realistic. Just like the gentlehobbit he is, even in such dark and desperate times. You just have to love him for it! Keep writing! Namarie, mellon nin! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Frodo Baggins · 1 November 2005 · Chapter 8: Darkness and Light

My dear, dear Antane! Oh, poor Frodo!! Oh, the poor, poor dear! I'll admit, you got me all teared up on that chapter. Sam's devotion, cousin devotion, Frodo waking up, eating for Sam.....the list goes on and on!! Queen Galadriel really does have a talent for songs, does she not? I can't wait to read more!!! I've said it before, adn I'll say it again, You are an excellent author!! Namarie, mellon nin! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Author's reply

My dear Frodo, thank you for your continued very kind reviews! I love Galadriel's songs too - more will be coming! I loved writing your favorite scenes so I am glad you enjoyed also. Frodo is so lucky to be so loved. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

harrowcat · 31 October 2005 · Chapter 21: The Taming of Gollum

I really liked the interchange between the three characters in this Antane, especially the dreams and checking on each others' mood.

Author's reply

Thank you for the continued kind reviews! I am so glad you are enjoying this love story. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Queen Galadriel · 30 October 2005 · Chapter 21: The Taming of Gollum

Well, it looks as if Smegol has a good start on Gollum this time. I hope it stays that way! I hope the poor creature can be saved this time and needn't go into the fire; for though I always want to wring his filthy neck when he bites off Frodo's finger, I guess I pity him deep down. And the lullaby, with the alterations, is better than when I wrote it! :-) No kidding! Keep it up! I'm dying to know what happens, since I'm sure some things are going to be very different this time! Namarie, and God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 30 October 2005 · Chapter 20: Ambushed

Chapter 19 was good Antane but now is much better. And I loved this departure scene too.

Starfire_Moonlight · 29 October 2005 · Chapter 20: Ambushed

Boromir didn't die, that's good. I wonder how this will change the Quest...I'll just wait till the next chapter. BTW, read chapter 19, not a bad touch with the Nazgul. Reminds me when they ran into one on the River in the book. Very interesting.

Dreamflower · 29 October 2005 · Chapter 20: Ambushed

Well, at least one good thing came of this: Boromir didn't fall to the Ring's temptations this time!

Queen Galadriel · 29 October 2005 · Chapter 20: Ambushed

Wow! I'm glad Boromir lived this time, but won't that...? Never mind. I'll just wait to find out. But now I reeeeally can't wait to see more! Please update soon! Namarie, and God bless, Galadriel

Frodo Baggins · 29 October 2005 · Chapter 6: Wounds at Weathertop

My dear Antane, Two wounds!? Oh, poor Frodo!! Just to let you know, I am really enjoying this story!! It's so.....I don't know how to explain it!! I can't wait to read more!! Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Frodo Baggins · 28 October 2005 · Chapter 4: The Road Ahead

Antane, No, I do not KNOW it will be alright....but it had better be, or I shall have some very cross words with YOU!! Hurting dear Frodo AGAIN, and in the SAME way.. if it's worse, you'll be in hot water!! Just teasing. I can't wait to read more!!! Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Starfire_Moonlight · 27 October 2005 · Chapter 19: A Trip on the River

Another wonderful chapter! It seems that the Ring is working quicker than the first time, but I suppose It would since It knows whats going to happen and that the first time destroyed It. Update soon!

Queen Galadriel · 26 October 2005 · Chapter 19: A Trip on the River

*wipes eyes* Oh, Antane, there's so much I feel I need to say, but I know I oughtn't because...well, it won't change things for our poor dear. Things like, "It's not fair! It's just not fair that he should have had to take it on in the first place, let alone a second time." Or, "If it's gone this far already, how will he ever make it to Mordor?" But, like at the beginning, I know he must, and you'll have me hooked until the last chapter! Namarie, and God bless, Galadriel

harrowcat · 26 October 2005 · Chapter 19: A Trip on the River

Often it is only after the event that you wonder where the strength came from to endure and continue. I love the image of Frodo being held in the arms of those who cherish him.

harrowcat · 26 October 2005 · Chapter 18: The Lady's Light

Very good words of wisdom to listen to for all of us. And nearly on the feast of All Saints too.
