It seems Elrond has his hands full first a bad feeling and then Estel showing up injured. I wonder what happened to make such injures... please continue

Author's reply

Elrond is a little busy and worried right now, rightfully so, things will be staying this way for him for a while too. I'm glad he is a patient elf :o)

pipinheart · 2 February 2006 · Chapter 0: Prologue

I like Ardas he seems a kind old man, and his donkey seems to have found Legolas. I hope he is okay

Author's reply

I am glad you like Adras, I tried to make him likeable. Thank you!

Bodkin · 31 January 2006 · Chapter 4: Sorrowed Returns

In some ways Estel is never going to seem that grown up to Elrond - a mere 22 must seem like infancy to elves, even among those more accustomed to men. He doesn't seem to well - although I'll bet everyone was glad to see him semi-conscious, even if was very briefly. I can't imagine the twins will relish sitting and waiting for information to come to them, though. What a worried group sitting watching over that sickbed!

Author's reply

In the grand scheme of things, 22 is very young, especially for one with Estel's destiny. I am sure that Elrond is VERY protective of him, I am a little protective myself, of both of them ;o) Thank you so much for reviewing!!

BlueEyedElf · 30 January 2006 · Chapter 4: Sorrowed Returns

Poor Estel. He must be so worried about Legolas. I hope his distress does not slow his recovery. I'm sure Legolas will be worried for him as well, when he regains consciousness.

Author's reply

Estel is a pretty tough kid but he is having a hard time right now, especially if he can't tell the difference between Glorfindel and Legolas. But I promise, all will be revealed soon :o)

daw the minstrel · 29 January 2006 · Chapter 4: Sorrowed Returns

Well, I'm as disappointed as Elrond, Glorfindel, and the twins! I want to hear what Estel has to say.

Author's reply

Awww, I'm sorry but he will be telling his story soon. I promise :o)

BlueEyedElf · 29 January 2006 · Chapter 3: Warmth Provided

I almost feel sorry for Adras's son. It's obvious that he hasn't always been this way. At least it seems that he is going to leave Legolas alone for the time being. Multiple head wounds does not sound good. Hopefully he will wake up soon and at least be able to give Adras his name. I liked Adras's comment about the extra warmth from the fire. That was cute. Great chapter. I'm looking forward to more.

Author's reply

I'm glad that you liked the chapter. Dorias is just a bit misguided. Legolas should be waking up sometime soon, I think :o) Next chapter is right around the corner.

daw the minstrel · 23 January 2006 · Chapter 3: Warmth Provided

But now the added fire was necessary with the elf covered only by a slight blanket. The old man secretly took pleasure in the extra heat. "I like you already Master Elf. If for nothing more than the additional warmth you bring." This was a nice moment. It felt very real. I like Adras in general. I think he and I would get along. I'm adept at one-sided conversations too. :-)

Author's reply

LOL! I am pretty good at them myself, had to base them off of something afterall. I am glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you!!

Bodkin · 23 January 2006 · Chapter 3: Warmth Provided

Well - Adras is a good chap. Kind, trustworthy, generous with what little he had. But his son.... Not a chip off the old block. I don't like to think what ideas he might be getting in his nasty little head, but I doubt they'll be good news for Adras and the rescued elf.

Author's reply

I am glad that you like Adras. I am trying to make him very likeable. As for Dorias, hmmm, he isn't so bad, just a little misunderstood :o)

Bodkin · 22 January 2006 · Chapter 2: Usual Patrols

Oh dear. This all seems very worrying. I hope the old man has been able to help the elf - and that Elrond manages to get that infection under control. Lots of complications here!

Author's reply

Complications are what makes a story fun, aren't they? :o) Thank you for reviewing!!

BlueEyedElf · 22 January 2006 · Chapter 2: Usual Patrols

Sounds like everyone is stressed to the breaking point. I think Angrod probably has his work cut out for him. I will be looking forward to seeing how this story turns out. You are doing a great job.

Author's reply

Thank you so very much! I am glad that you are enjoying it :o)

daw the minstrel · 22 January 2006 · Chapter 2: Usual Patrols

All the searchers seem to be underway, and all of them are upset. That's as it should be. I look forward to hearing how this all works out.

Author's reply

Thank you Daw! It is always a pleasure hearing from you :o)

daw the minstrel · 22 January 2006 · Chapter 1: In The Storm’s Wake

So it's Legolas who was unconscious in chapter 1. I wonder what happened to them. Arrows and a strange horse. Hm.

Author's reply

Hi again Daw :o) Thank you for reviewing this story. I love to hear what you have to say and what you think.

BlueEyedElf · 22 January 2006 · Chapter 1: In The Storm’s Wake

Oh my! This just gets more and more interesting. I wonder what happened to Legolas and Estel. Maybe Estel will be able to give some answers when he is conscious. I will be looking forward to more.

Author's reply

Thank you for reviewing. The answers will be forthcoming I promise. I am glad you are liking it so far :o)
