My, you have been busy a busy little bee haven't you, my dear, with this lovely flood of stories! I'm drowning and couldn't be happier! :) Love the beginning -Frodo listening to Sam sing while held in his arms and also that he was happy for a bit at the wedding. I feel almost me again. Yea! It'll be short lived I'm afraid, but how wonderful! And Rose's comment that Sam makes him happy. Very much a mutual admiration society there. :) More, more!
Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)
Lovely to see Frodo taking delight in the wedding preparations.
I love your Rosie; she¡¦s so sweet and motherly. ƒº And I love the inclusion of Elanor in the dream!
God bless,

Ah, how gentle and wonderful as the three of them find peace for a day, and as Frodo has a glimpse of the small child to come to these two he loves so well.

· Chapter 39: Exciting News
"How long’ve you known, Mr. Frodo?”
“I’ve seen this one in my dreams for a while now,” I reply. “This child will be a wonderful gift.”
Now that's intriguing - how did Rosie know that Frodo knew? And how did Frodo know? Another of his dreams of the future? He also did have intriguing dreams. And what a comfort it will be for him if they continue in the West so he can still be part of the family.
I lean my head on his shoulder, and close my eyes. “Can they call me Uncle Frodo, Sam?” I ask.
Awwww! So sweet. Too bad he never did hear anyone call him that, at least not on this side of life.
Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Hmm... dreams in the west... More plot bunnies!! YAY! I'm glad you liked that part! Yes, that is sad! But maybe... *thinks about plot involving dreams...*
God bless,
Ellie
Aww! I love it! *giggles at excited Rosie* And of course Frodo would know! :) The bit about Uncle Frodo was sweet too. But it makes me sad because...no. I'm not even going to think about it right now. More soon, pleeeeease! :)
God bless,
Galadriel
Author's reply
Glad you liked it! yes, let's not think about that now, let's be happy!! *grins* I will get more soon, I hope, if my muse stops being fussy about what Fanfic I write... *rolls eyes*

Oh, I forgot to say, I saw that you once again put yourself in the story! Can I get points for finding you? lol. Always fun to add yourself to stories! *Goes to read rest*
God bless ~Arwen
Author's reply
Lol! I think of Laci too! But that's only because she's the cutest little elf/hobbit child I have ever seen! Lol! You're relieved! I didn't even know this was going that way until I wrote it, and I wasn't sure if she was going to live or not! Lol! Is it me, or is it you? *grins mysteriously* Naw, yeah, it's me. Only little Amber is so totally not like me! *grins* Lol! That would be... two points now! *grins*

Ohh! Sadness! *cries* And sweet! Poor Ellis, he is a brave little guy. *gives him a hug* Oh my, I just realized that my sympathy has eased away from Frodo to Ellis! Now I am so busy feeling sad/proud of Ellis that I don't feel as bad for Frodo. Hmm, I suppose it must be the same for Frodo himself, he is busy taking care of little Ellis, so it takes his mind off his own issues for a while!
*Must continue reading!!!*
Great!

Lost his finger but not his soul. I have found the much-maligned animated version of the ROTK to be quite insightful on some things and this is one of them. I can't remember exactly what Frodo says, having only watched it twice so far, but while Sam mourns the loss of his finger, Frodo something like better that than the loss of himself entirely. I know he would regard the maiming to be a constant reminder of his failure and the questions of the innocent would bring new pain but it is also a victory and a mercy given him that only a finger was lost.
Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Awww! *hugs Amber* She is *sooooo* cute! :) And so innocent. Yes, Frodo needed her *and* Ellis then.
I love Frodo's blank "hmmm?" as he is brought out of "writer mode"! LOL! My family hates it when I do that. "Hey! I said do you want anything from Steak and Shake!" "Oh, yeah, sure. Why are you yelling?" "'Cause I already asked you like three times and you just kept writing!" :)
I love the hopeful note this ends on.

Aww, now Rosie knows the story. And Frodo told it! Good for him, though I can imagine it was hard.
I was right along with Rosie, feeling calm at the mention of Lorien *smiles*
and beaming at Sam for fighting off Shelob!
And now time for a nap.. *heh*
Well, you are probably wondering why I am not in Washington by now, and it seems the most unfortunate event that IT has struck again.
One, I feel a cold coming on and two, our van is being mean. It was acting up and so my dad has been working on it all day. If he gets it to work then we can still go tonight! I hope so!! *If only IT had not been mentioned last night*
Well, other than that I am having a good night! I hope none of the others
have been..affected. You should ask! And tell them about me, would ya?
I think some of them need some convincing that IT IS BAD!! (Including you!)
*Nods seriously* Ahh, some day y'all will learn! *shakes head sadly.*
And I still blame it for my email. *frowns*
Well, I hope you are still having a good day!
God bless ~Arwen

Lol! I knew you would like my mention of Lorien. *grins* Glad you like! Ah, a nap sounds good. I caught whatever illness Goldie had, and am v. tired... Oh, I hope your van is all right! I was meaning to ask you how your trip went the other day, but it must have slipped my mind. I have a short attention span when lots of people are around... *innocent grin*

That was a frightening nightmare but well written - seeing light and then realizing it was the Eye, being overwhelmed by fire. Then waking and having all that love - love it, love it, love it. :) And all Frodo has to do is say "Him" and Sam knows and tries to encourage him to say more, holding off dinner because he knows Frodo just needs to be held for a while. In some ways, Frodo was Sam's first child, not Elanor. Looking forward to more! :)
